Read three or four post above yours.
Also Mc Forge only adds sprite places if the mod is compatible with it. It doesn't add sprite indices.

Sorry to leave everyone hanging there by the way, I'm still messing with eclipse.
I don't know what "eclipse" refers to and I only see that he is sorry to leave us hanging, but not that he has any plan to move forward with the mod.
This second post from me in the same day isn't intended to push on ShaRose (who's work is greatly appreciated) any further. I'm just responding to the idea that I didn't make any effort to answer my own question.

Eclipse is a programming platform. Coders use it and Minecraft Coder Pack to build mods for the game. It is a bit touchy and can be difficult at times to use. You can read more about it at Eclipse Project website.
Finally got everything done. Just to explain quickly what was going on, at first I just added a few features, but I was doing other things as well. When I finally got ready to release, I found out it was crashing. After checking it out, I found out that the Eclipse workspace included in 1.8 had a load of warnings disabled (Like unused methods). Because of that, it flagged my unused method suppress warnings annotations, and I cleaned them out without thinking. And when my Cleanup script ran, it wiped out the majority of my handlers for buttons and such. I got it fixed (Along with fixing the bug in GuiAPI which hid it for a day or so), and had to re-add all the methods for the buttons. After that, I get everything ready, to find out that MCP wasn't obfuscating it correctly. So after looking at that for a while, I just backed up my changes, cleaned it out, updated MCP just to be sure, decompiled it again, readded my changes, etc etc.
It seems like everything is working, but because of this long delay I didn't test everything as much as I usually do, so if anyone has issues, please post ID Resolver.txt, ModLoader.txt, and the crash log.
Say is there another way to solve the conflicts outside minecraft.exe since it crashes all the time. Not with your mod but the mods I've installed, they're fine but it just has a lot of id conflicts =/ ~Thanks

If the mods that conflict have configuration files, you can edit those. But not all mods have them. If they don't, ID resolver is pretty much the only way.

I hope you update before I go insane... It may happen at this rate.
Or is 1.8 going to be much worse if you like a lot of mods then 17.3
I don't mean to hassle you, just to let you know there's interest. :smile.gif:

Is it therefore assumed from context that ShaRose is still interested in this mod?
yea not exactly worth the effort to port once every 4 or 5 days or even every week. IMHO.
Wish that notch would quit adding lame blocks and taking up potential block IDs from badass blocks from mods.

Okay! Thanks I'll try to do that!
