Just an update, I would have uploaded the first version of ID Resolver for 1.3.2 a little while ago, but I found a bug in the way that FML ticks. So yeah, waiting for a recommended release with that fixed.
The mod from file DrZharks MoCreatures Mod v3.7.1.zip has failed to load. This is likely a mod installation error.

Little poll here: Who actually uses Mod Priorities, and should I bother keeping them around?
Seeing as the next update (1.3) forge is going to be including some of the stuff ID Resolver does, mods that derp and don't like it when you reassign stuff are going to either fix or conflict with forge itself, which means the main reason for it being around is gone.
Before leaving them out I thought I'd ask first, and of course if people really do want them I'll keep them in.
Don't use it, but mostly because it never seemed to make much diff with the mods I use, and I couldn't figure out/find documentation whether is was loading high numbers or low numbers first. Since your later threads mention you'll leave it in at least for now, I'll just add that I think you should leave it in until the functionality is effectively replaced by forge or superseded by official mod API. It's the kind of thing that when it's needed, there's no other good way to do it.
i hope you can help me
sorry for my bad english

I've seen similar texture glitches on mobs. It seems to be related in my case to using Optifine MT version with large sets of mods/blocks/items (1.2.5). Switched to Optifine smooth version and problem disappeared. Usually when I would see a mob like this, my game would crash in OpenGL/Optifine shortly afterward. I suspect there's something that isn't thread-safe for graphics in the 4096 patch, or maybe it's in Optifine MT itself.

I have what may be a stupid question or one that you may have already answered, although it isn't in the first post!
When I start Minecraft, I get the message about loose settings so I go to the trim menu and look to see what is there. It shows me settings for mods that I still have loaded!?!?!?! Any ideas as to why this would happen?
This also could've been said already, but my Blaze Powder is in two different places, and I now have no End Stone. It would be nice if we had the ability to edit vanilla IDs too. It might not be possible, but it would be nice. P.S: I think it happens when adding either IC2 or BC3. Maybe Forestry.

Thanks
If something like that happens, it's another mod's fault, not ID Resolver. Any why would you possibly want to edit vanilla IDs?
I know I said I'd be fast to release this time, but I kept getting distracted and I decided to do a nice thing for UX. Now pretty much everything has a tooltip explaining more about each option, and there's a 'first start' menu that lets you change settings like whether to show each conflict or not, displaying ID information in the corner. It also has full support for FML style mods, and a few other small tweaks for people (including stuff like the ID menus are sorted, you can open a 'quick settings' menu while resolving, There are probably a few other little tweaks that I did as well. I'm also planning on making it harder to kill: Checking each settings to see if it's 'valid' to avoid crashes from settings file corruption (only in the known IDs file though for ease) and I also implemented 'streaming' saves, which is a pretty decent performance boost (Sometimes as high as twice as fast!).
It should be out pretty soon, so long as there aren't any bugs I added, and since I added so much text for tooltips (almost all written late at night) I'm betting there's a few typos and grammar issues as well, so it's undergoing testing.
So I installed this with your GUIAPI, your 4096 ID fix, and Forge 3.3.8, and yet, no matter what order I install them in, as I am putting them all in the Jar file, I still get the Block and Item ID hooks not working error. I was wondering if you could tell me what I was doing wrong. I am installing them all using MultiMC's drag-and-drop Zip folder system, as they are only one layer deep, and the only other mods I currently have installed are Optifine and Rei's Minimap.
Since Your Updating It, Why Don't You Make An Easier Install? Just Pack It As An Installer For A Fresh Minecraft That Has 4096 and The Latest Version Of Forge Included. Really Would Be A Help And Might Fix The Install Problems Players Are Havin'

Once you do so, I'll be putting out a mod tutorial involving your mod. It'll be a basic "How to install and run mods for dummies" type tutorial that goes through getting MMC, Forge, and your mod, so that any other mods you want are literally drag and drop.
Ive been using this for 1.2.5 for a while now, and have switched around mods many times just testing to see what works. One thing is certain, Mocreatures and Buildcraft absolutely NEED IDresolver to fix their item conflicts as there is no other way. But on the other hand Im worried about relying on the 4096 patch due to unforseen concequences. For example theres a warning in the ExtrabiomesXL config that states cracked sand and redrock blocks from ExtrabiomesXL cannot be set above 255 due to a hole in the patch. A couple other mods Ive tried reacted badly to ids over 255 as well but there was no documentation about that. So basically I dont know what mods are safe to set above 255 and which arent.

I was manually editing IDBlocks for Buildcraft long before I found out about IDResolver. It's not a *NEED*, it's simply a tool to get things to work easier.
You can simply set those mods to a higher priority so they don't get their ID numbers changed.
Haha alright, just making sure

Don't use it, but mostly because it never seemed to make much diff with the mods I use, and I couldn't figure out/find documentation whether is was loading high numbers or low numbers first. Since your later threads mention you'll leave it in at least for now, I'll just add that I think you should leave it in until the functionality is effectively replaced by forge or superseded by official mod API. It's the kind of thing that when it's needed, there's no other good way to do it.
Congrats on reading the first post. (Clearly, I'm sarcastic, since it tells you EXACTLY the problem with that)
You would be one of those people who can't read the first post.

When I start Minecraft, I get the message about loose settings so I go to the trim menu and look to see what is there. It shows me settings for mods that I still have loaded!?!?!?! Any ideas as to why this would happen?
Thanks
If something like that happens, it's another mod's fault, not ID Resolver. Any why would you possibly want to edit vanilla IDs?
Well, I would think I would be able to change End Stone's ID to another one. Thanks for your help, I just don't know what mod it is :(.
It should be out pretty soon, so long as there aren't any bugs I added, and since I added so much text for tooltips (almost all written late at night) I'm betting there's a few typos and grammar issues as well, so it's undergoing testing.
You can simply set those mods to a higher priority so they don't get their ID numbers changed.
