I have Minecraft Forge 1.3.2.0. Is there a problem?
Trying to use timers but they are acting extremely erratic for me. On some ticks it will pulse briefly, some ticks it will stay on, some it will do nothing, often going 10 ticks or more without lighting at all. This is with and without anything attached. The sequencer works great but has anyone encountered this erratic timer behavior? My first time using them so I am a bit confused.
Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem.

No... The bug is FORGE 1.3.2 not having the version tag. there is a release client of Forge 1.3.2 that can be found in the Forge topic with this bug fixed, or you can use 1.3.1 which does work.
so where is the fix eh ? ... I must have gone through like the whole topic ... this is infuriating for everyone that is trying to find the fix, and obviously for the people that know where it is

What amazes me is that some people obviously don't consider one simple fact.
All of the information that is available to us, is available to everyone else by the same means - searching, and reading.
We don't have some Book of Shadows listing all the unknown secrets of using mods. We simply pay attention and make the effort to seek our own answers before asking the same old questions, again and again.
If you can get on the Internet, if you can find this forum, you already know how to seek the answers. We're here for the unusual issues no one's heard of before, but we're not here to hold hands and spoon-feed people who are supposed to at least be teenagers.
Timers only generate a single pulse when they trigger, I'm guessing from your description that your trying to power a transposer or similar... These machines have a minimum time between cycles, and if the pulses are too fast, the machine will jam, and not reset.
Set your timer to a slightly slower (or sometimes faster will work) but the actual time required will also be affected by your own game lag, as if your game is doing a lot of calculations in the chunk, this will slow down the response rate of the machine.
It is happening whether I am using with anything or letting it stand alone. Whether at 10 seconds or 2.
Curious if you got Brass working on the OreDictionary properly yet, some of my users pointed out that it wasn't properly integrating the two. Just figured I'd let you know to see if you still had support planned or such.
Thanks,
Shadow

Has anyone else noticed an odd bug with volcanos in this version? i seem to have a display issue where some volcanos look like they have been generated with sheer sides.
but when i get close i cant move through the "empty" space as there are invisible blocks there, if i try and place a block or use flint and steel huge areas of bassalt suddenly appear where the empty space was.
not a game braking bug or anything but a anoying one lol.
If I'm not mistaken, this has been happening since 1.8.1 beta. The worldgen code changed I believe, resulting in some very odd looking volcanoes. Eloraam is going to do something about it come pr6 or 7.
ah right ok thats cool, not that its that big an issue im not that much of a fan of them anyhow but i hate slab sided mountans more my ocd kicks in and i have to make them have slopes lol.
I have Minecraft Forge 1.3.2.0. Is there a problem?
I get it, but forge 1.3.1 is so buggy, it's unplayable for me.
Umm...may I ask how long it took you to find all of those pages? :blink.gif:
Well 1.3.2.0 is so buggy it's unplayable for everybody...so...
They can. Even pipes do. There's no way to prevent a griefer from just using a transposer to get the items off a personal safe.
if i run a RP server will my friends need to install it to?
What do you think? Actually if you use chicken bones loader along with installing the mods then your friends will only need chicken loader.
yes it is on a completely new install, and yes I have deleted META-INF
would love to get this sorted quick

Just use 1.3.1 for now and wait for a fix.

You could do that. I just blow 'em up. :wink.gif:
Redpower needs explosives :smile.gif:. Actualy I think they are coming in pr5.
Really? I hadn't been following much lately.
Come to think of it, everything needs explosives!
Idea: Why hasn't anyone made mechanical cows/sheep that are filled with TNT?
