While Flying, blocks don't like to stay put! They keep disappearing when placed.
Also, when flying, if there is a block above you (Say a ceiling for a building), you'll start getting very jittery and unable to move.
You need to have API installed, this occurs when you DO NOT have Player API so the game cannot properly register that you are 1 Block tall when flying. It assumes your 2 blocks tall and you start to spaz at the conflicting information.
K thanks for trying to help and I'm playing on client
Edit: Heres a pic
And no i'm not flying it is the bug that is happening
That's definitely looking like a bug to me. The problem is, no matter where I am or what I dive off of, I can't get the same effect as you.
I don't really know what else to suggest other than reinstalling it.
I was just wondering if I had this installed with bukkit do users need to install the client side version to play on the server because if it isn't necessary for them I'm totally getting this. That wait players have the choice of doing the extra installation work.
Players joining your server will need the client-side version of it as well.
Open up Notepad, Notepad++, or something similar.
Paste what I just spoiler'd into it.
Save it , but when you save it, make sure you select save type and change that to all types, and name it "NameGoesHere".bat.
Save that in the root of your .minecraft directory.
Once that's done, run it and it'll start up your Minecraft.
Now what happens is, whenever it gets to the part that crashes, it will force Minecraft to stay open so that you can see the error log.

I can see that you're on a server, install Smart Moving on that server (if you did, did you install Player API and/or ModLoaderMp for server?) Also back up a little bit when building, Smart Moving doesn't have anything to do with this :dry.gif:

Yes they do have to install it, btw tell 'em that they need to install the ModLoaderMp package only!
For some wierd reason this mod never works for me no matter how hard I try to install it. :'(
What package you using? If you're using the ModLoader/ModLoaderMp package, did you install Player API. Also only install one package if you didn't know that. Post an error report while you're at it :wink.gif:
Once I installed the mod I had no problem logging in but when I try to enter or create a new world My minecraft crashes. I am on a mac could this have something to do with it?
This mod is EPIC! But I was wondering how did you make it? I've looked for mod making tutorials and I didn't find anything that covers making new animations for "Steve"... Could you send me a PM telling me how to do this? Or better yet if you have the time could you make the mod I wanted to make XD
Well basically I want a completely revamped survival and combat system in MC, Hunger Bar, Thirst bar, Health Bar, Usable EXP bar, Armor bar, Mana bar and energy (or stamina) bar... Well I won't make a senseless huge post here so if you wanna know what my idea is or if you wanna give me pointers in mod making send me a PM :biggrin.gif:
Now to climb up a tower and snipe creepers with my bow and arrows 8D
I'm trying to install this mod for ModLoader and with SPC, but I get errors.
I install the mods in this order:
ModLoader
SPC
Player API
SPC for PlayerAPI Patch
Smartmoving for Modloader.
Minecraft crashes and this is the error I get:

Got this to work because I removed the Smart moving mod from the minecraft.jar and just put it in my mods/ folder. The SPC issue is still there though.
I did use Player API and I installed by the instructions. I tried every one of them and I installed one version just like it said , not all of them. And how are you supposed to get the error screen up without it closing immediately? Again, I installed one package, then force updated and re-installed a diff version with all the requerments (Modloader, Player API and so on. But I haven't tried ModLoaderMP yet. :mellow.gif:
*EDIT*
None of the versions work... :dry.gif:
krissto, what package did you install exactly? Also read FAQ #2

Only install the SPC patch and did you install more than ONE package of Smart Moving?
Same thing. Are you also saying that I should install the mods in that order? Because that won't work either.
Strange, did you install it from a brand new minecraft.jar, because it won't work if you keep replacing files. Did you forget to delete the META-INF folder?Divisor! Don't fix the ladder stuff, in the next release of Minecraft they revert to the normal collision box

The minecraft.jar is clean. I use the MagicLauncher to install mods and it should work. Magic Launcher thread.
The log from the launcher says this, is it for any help?
