Installed your mod on my server, I love it. Quick question though. Is there a way to disable the side jumping where you double tap A, S, or D to kind of 'hop' to the side or backwards? I find it more annoying then useful because I mostly do it by accident.
THis is so awesome it should be added to the real game!!! The only problem i find is that fall damage dosnt change if you climb down a row of stairs. Also, swimming through waterfalls is glitchy. Besides those minor changes to be made, I LOVE IT!

You know, I really hate it when there's a new move that adds more stuff to the config file, because I have to delete my old config so I can get the new stuff. And then I have to change almost ALL the exhaustion levels and some other stuff AGAIN.
In other words, is it possible to have the smart_moving_options.txt add a missing variable if it's not there? For example, if I were to delete the smart swimming option, it would generate it back. This would be EXTREMELY useful in the case of updates and I want to have the new stuff but keep my old settings, or in the case described above. I don't know if this is possible, but it would be really nice!
When starting minecraft after the Mojang symbol I get this error
Thanks, Dvd604
You know the different files are the same thing making it so if you have modloadermp you use THAT file and only that file. If just modloader ONLY the modloader file. Installing both makes you crash.
I added an automatic options file generation and update system with version 5.0.
Do you want to tell me it is not working for you?
No, that's not I what I was explaining to you, I must of made it kinda confusing. My bad! :sleep.gif:
Here's my attempt at a more clear explanation:
When you add a new setting to the smart_moving_options.txt due to a new update, it doesn't add it in the old config once you update, right? You have to delete your old config to get the new settings. But if you do that, that will delete your old settings for other moves! So what I'm asking for you to do is make your mod sense if a setting is missing, and if so, it will generate it. This will allow you to keep your old settings while having the new settings in there. So, let's say you add awesome move in a new update:
#To switch on/off awesome move:
move.awesome:true
But my old config doesn't have it!
Near the bottom of my config:
# To switch on/off standard flying small size
move.levitate.small:true
# To switch on/off standard flying animation
move.levitate.animation:true
(This is where awesome move would go)
...And after Smart Moving senses awesome move is not there and generates it...
Near the bottom of my NEW config:
# To switch on/off standard flying small size
move.levitate.small:true
# To switch on/off standard flying animation
move.levitate.animation:true
#To switch on/off awesome move:
move.awesome:true
Does it make more sense now?
EDIT:
And not related to this, but when you disable Smart Moving in-game and then perform a sprint-jump, it seems to limit your jump to 3 blocks rather than 4. I haven't actually tried jumping 4 blocks while this is disabled, but it sure looks like it!
I then get out of the lava and then... Well if you try you will find out if you try do it and if it doesnt work... i have no idea wat is going on
P.S.
This should so get put into the actual vanilla version of the game epic mod and hardly interferes with the actual aspect of the game
Thanks

Actually it's very compatible I use this with Optifine just fine. Either you ****ed up your install or your retarded.
