I looked at the stuff you need to do, and it doesn't seem to hard (maybe the textures of them will be tricky (if not impossible) but other then that I think I could do it if he doesn't want to.
Wow if you can get this to work with ItemCraft you win!
This is an incredibly wonderful mod, but without a configuration file it will make it really hard for me to utilize.
Each chandelier uses a terrain index, and they are in short supply. I'd use the mod in my families mod compilation if I could choose which chandeliers are available to craft. (Was going to do the iron and wood ones).
Would be lovely if a config file were present for future releases.

Well, I'm not sure how to make a Config file, but if you want I can just edit the code for you. Also thanks!
Great mod! I have a suggestion, though - shouldn't be too hard to implement, either. Make a hanging chain block - make a longer chain texture and basically duplicate the chandelier block part, without the flames. With this, you can make the chandeliers hang down more if needed, while still blending in - and you can use the chains to hang other things as well like maybe glowstone or something. Also, just a minor "efficiency" type thing - in the source for BlockChandelier in canPlaceBlockAt, there seems to be a lot of repeated code, but it doesn't really affect anything except for some very minor delays I guess.

I do plan on doing that once I finish the next thing I'm doing. Also I'll try to fix the repeated code.

Have you asked the guy if he will do it yet?

For some reason my method of making mods isnt working. Cant help make it into Modloader mp.
It only takes up one, but I do want to make a type of chandelier that takes up two
Thanks, and I want to make a light bulb type mod, but their are a lot of them, and I don't know how to make it look right.
Thanks, if you have any suggestions then feel free to ask.
Thanks, and I checked at the release, and I found it is the only pure chandelier mod.
Oh, really? where is this?
