I'm making good progress. I am contemplating releasing Release 2 this weekend as a "final" release. The installer and settings modifier would then come at a later date, but the pro of this is a 1.6 ready release with a "flawless" BOBv2 interpreter would be ready tonight/tomorrow evening. Thoughts?

Final? As in no more development? GAH...
But thanks for the work, even if it is. Personally I've been waiting for release 2 to see what it can do before asking for more 'enhancements' :smile.gif:

No, Final simply means it's the official release and will be placed in "feature freeze" Bugfixes will still be put out, just the other planed features would be pushed back to Release 3.

I personally would rather have a working version for 1.6_x with the current features than wait for a version with added features, but I can wait, especially since a few of the people I play with are having difficulties with the 1.6_x versions.
Added Version checking on the About Page, you can click the button and wait for a response from my slow server (sorry) to see if your program is up to date
Added tall grass and trapdoors (1.6 blocks)
Changed the isometric viewer to outline blocks below ground plane in red instead of black for easier observation of underground blocks
Compressed the properties checkboxes a little and added some logic to prevent obvious mistakes
Added multi select of Spawn On block types
Changed the multi select check boxes to change with single-click instead of double-click
Thanks for the great suggestions. And sorry that "checking" for updates is a little slow.. My server is not that fast.
If I understand correctly, there's no version of this mod which works with the current version of minecraft. If that's the case, would someone do me the favor of uploading their unupdated .jar file with this mod installed in it? idk if that would even work...

Can't do that, would be illegal sorry.
I hope to have it updated today though.
As for Bukkit, it will be updated in next recomended release yes.
As for IndustrialCraft, that's slightly delayed but will still happen sometime soon.
Feature request.
In the Iso viewer is it possible to get one side of the blocks shaded a little darker to aid in viewing? It's sometimes hard to distinquish one block from another. And if it's easy, can you also shade the tops a little bit lighter.?

Please and thank you.
I was thinking the same thing myself. In my recent version I've sped up the Iso Viewer by about 30% but there is more still to do, and I think I can get 50% more speed up with some other fundamental changes. Part of that can be to implement this different shading.
I was thinking of setting an x-ray mode, that would turn on transparency. It would be confusing but would help view internals. You can kinda see what that will look like by making an object and covering it with "AIR" blocks.
Also as a side note, PRO TIP: Don't forget to add air blocks inside of structures so they don't get filled with stuff when being placed in the side of hills.
Edit: I decompiled both mods and from what I can tell, installing Nature Overhaul after Phoenix will prevent Phoenix's custom objects from growing out of a sapling, but replace it with Nature Overhaul's sapling logic. I'm okay with this.
Hi,
I love this mod, but I'd like to use it with Nature Overhaul and it looks like they might not be completely compatible. The gs.class file is replaced by both mods. Is there something I can do to fix this?

How about horizontal layering with steping through the layers? The 'active' layer/slice could be regular shading the rest transparent. doesn't have to be in all directions, just one would be enough? Like a loaf of sliced bread. Is that do-able?

Sheesh, I lost sight of this topic when the forums had moved. I blame the new shiny name and all bookmarks being gone. But to make up for it I find that it is going to be updated soon :happy.gif: lucky me. Manually searching for this topic through recent posts paid off.
So there's two places for the text file for the biome settings, one in the .minecraft folder and one in the save folder for whatever world. So imagine this scenario:
you create World 1 with like some sort of high mountains and grassy settings, then you go into the .minecraft folder and change the biome settings and then create World 2 with maybe some sort of desert settings. Now, if I go back into World 1 with the .minecraft biome settings still set up for desert but the save folder's biome settings as the grassy mountain stuff, and then I explore and make it generate new blocks, which will the new blocks be based on? The settings in the save folder or in the .minecraft folder? Will it make grassy mountains or desert?
I SOOOO should have keept my save of the 1.5-01 .jar, now I have to wait again for the mod I wait since so long T.T
Hoping to see a 1.6 version before the game pass on 1.7! (:sleep.gif:)
THIS IS FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO DOWNGRADE TO 1.5_01!!!!! please instead of just complaining about having no updates for mods, use MC Nostalgia to downgrade to 1.5_01. Just look it up, please.

Great advice.
And sorry for the delays everyone, I want this to be a really good release.
Notch has stated that beta 1.6.6 should be the last update for a little while unless something major needs to be addressed before beta 1.7, which in turn is a little ways off from release so hopefully you and other modders have a little breathing room. :smile.gif:

Do you think a IndustrialCraft compatible release is still scheduled ?
Thanks :smile.gif:

That's totally doable and a good idea.
I think it's about time I put you in the credits, Ohmusuma. :smile.gif:
Why thank you >_o
