Your welcome for coding the block.
1,763 F is silvers melting point.
and Iron is smelted at.... 1,811F
So, your right. I hope I'll eventually fix this...
It shouldn't power an iron furnace yet. It was a quick implement and I was hoping he would fix it.
As for the smelting glitch... It works fine on my end http://cl.ly/6d4n http://cl.ly/6byd
OH lol i feel retarded because i was testing out things i was trying to smelt iron ingots:P the smelting does work with the normal furnace and no i havent added the iron furnace yet because i didnt think about it for the first release it will be in the next release though.
So, can you have a spider, rat, and cavewolf pet following you around at the same time? That might be a bit ridiculous.
This sounds really fun. Looking forward to the released version.
I decided since i love all of you sssssooooooo mmmuuuucccchhhh i will be releasing a bug fix tonight. It will be some minor fixes that will just clean up the first release. The next major release will still be on thursday though.
Wellup im going to class now and then im gonna go spend time with my girlfriend so you wont hear from till later tonight when i post the bugfix/revision release.
the new sword looks good! I'm gonna start working on some of the other ones.
Could you work on the reinforced stone too? I just finished the obsidian and coal.
Also, If you could work on the tools especially the obsidian ones, that'd be great. Especially if you use the following texture. http://cl.ly/6bzq
Super compressed coal blocks need to drop more than 15 diamonds.
Because 9 compressed coal blocks drop 18 diamonds...
I noticed that too, but forgot to post about it. Thanks for bringing that up.
I'm starting to form an increasingly large list of ideas in my head, having to do with dwarven lifestyle and capabilities. Do you want to hear them?
Ok, there's one that I want to tell you either way. Stone chest minecarts, and iron furnace minecarts. The chest ones act the same as the wooden ones, the iron furnace carts move faster, and/or use their fuel for longer.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
SPAAAAAAAAAAAACE!
"Look at me still talking when there's science to do. When I look out there it makes me glad I'm not you."
They both break at about the same number of blocks.
In other words?
OP AS HELL.
Also, the reinforced tools are much too expensive to be worth it, In my honest opinion, there should be a better way of compressing things to make it worth their cost.

You sorta contradicted yourself there. Are they OP or are they too expensive to be worth it?

So, let me get this strait...
5*3=15+2=17
For just SEVENTEEN COBBLESTONE.
You can make a pickaxe that is as good as iron.
BUUUUUUUULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTT
How do you figure?
Took out a reinforced stone pickaxe.
They break blocks at about the same speed.

The reinforced tools are not worth the time to make.
However, the reinforced stone is cheaper than dirt to produce, and is basically iron.
Meaning you could carry around one iron pickaxe for ores, and then reinforced stone for general blocks.
... No.
Please, No.
Hehe..thanks for clarification. But....I'll just say this. Even if he leaves it in you don't have to use it, right?
What you described is what I do with stone and iron picks right now, actually.
I love this mod, I just want it to not break minecraft.
Also, some of the textures need to be redone, majorly.
