and i couldnt find the nq/np class
Did you have any mods installed prior to installing AMCO? Also make sure you're using Minecraft 1.5.2 and not 1.6.2. A crash report would be very helpful to figuring out what went wrong.
From the small amount of experience I have from playing with it, the new minecraft client doesn't work the same as the old; I'm not sure if AMCO works on the new one... anybody else know?

okay I fixed the first issue I posted about.Next issue is that I cannot open minecraft with the .bat files I can open it normally but it runs super slow. Also what mod is it that starts you off with a creative mod inventory? I would like to shut that one off...

That would be NEI. I would actually advise keeping it, just set it to either utility or recipe mode. Instead of getting a stack of that item like it does on Cheat mode, it acts as a recipe book for almost everything. left-click an item to see its recipe, right-click to see all the recipes that require that item. And just press "o" to hide it.
Sorry to have been away so long.
This summer was super busy for me.
And, I've been playing a lot of vanilla minecraft with some friends who's computers can't handle many mods.
We've done some pretty neat builds.
Perhaps I'll include pictures and/or video in my next post.
Anyway, I am still alive, and still planning to update this pack.
A 1.7 update to Minecraft looms, so I'm holding off investing my time till then.
Mojang usually does something special for Holloween.
I wonder if we'll see 1.7 before that.

Hey Arrrg, HUGE fan of your pack. Started in 1.2.5 when I installed it on EVERY computer in my middle school classroom. Then I've been following the pack's activity (well, not following just checking back every day or so, I have the emails) for a long time, even got the shakatomen version when you were gone. But finding you're still working on it is AMAZING. I do agree, waiting for 1.7 is very wise. Plus I'd love to see those builds. Oh and one last thing, what do you think are the odds of an installer coming out for 1.7, your installers are the only way I was able to slip the 1.2.5 version past my school system's firewall.

I am really glad you are still around and still developing this pack.
Love playing this pack, and thank you for not abandoning AMCO

my request for next update can you make the installer for the modpack cause im not best at doing this
In the meantime, everybody who hasn't done so, read back a page about 1.5.2, I'm too lazy to keep re-posting everything every time a new page starts, it's . No, I haven't gone and re-updated the pack yet (it takes about an entire day to do so, and I've been busy/distracted with other things), but it does work.
If you want to use it with the new launcher, I found out that it DOES work (but it's a pain in the butt and I could probably get around to putting in the extra files eventually to make this easier, unless Arrrg wants to take this), but you'll want to create a separate minecraft directory for the profile, because otherwise the mods will cause conflicts with different versions; in the profile options, make sure to choose 1.5.2 as your minecraft version, and run it once, just to download the files. As for the AMCO zip, in the new directory, you ONLY copy over everything in the "to Root" folder, the rest doesn't work. The rest of the instructions are a pain, but, go download the "1.5.2 latest" INSTALLER off the forge website, and then right-click > open with > Java™ Platform SE binary, and you'll want to extract the files somewhere where you can find them. (Yeah, I know, it gives you the forge universal, but for some reason, the universal download off the site didn't work... *shrug*). Now you'll want to go into your versions folder, which from the minecraft root will be ".minecraft\versions", look for the 1.5.2, copy it and rename the copy to "1.5.2-Forge7.8.1.738", you'll also need to open up the folder, and rename both files inside from 1.5.2 to 1.5.2-Forge7.8.1.738; lastly, open up the .json inside the folder with notepad, or any text editor, and change any 1.5.2 to 1.5.2-Forge7.8.1.738, and save. Now you can open up the zip in the folder, and you'll want to extract the contents of your forge universal into the minecraft file (you can also add optifine at this point if you want to, I'd suggest OptiFine 1.5.2_HD_U_D5). Oh, one more thing, until I change it, IDResolver acts funny, and has a tendency to save over the ID mappings and screw itself up, so go into .minecraft/config/ and look for IDResolverknownIDs.properties, right-click on it, go to properties, and tick the option to make the file read-only. Otherwise, when (not if) IDresolver messes up, you'll have to go and paste the original IDResolverknownIDs file from the AMCO zip to fix it... this is much easier. The last two things you'll have to do before starting this up, is to first make sure that you have Java 8 downloaded and installed, then lastly close the launcher and re-open, then change your profile settings to use your new minecraft version, it'll say: release 1.5.2-Forge7.8.1.738. Now you're all set =)
As a reminder, I set up IDResolver to use the Aether II as well, so all you'll have to do is download it off http://aetherii.com/ if you want it (I don't know if it's run by them or not, but as of the time I wrote this, www.aethermod.net is useless, unless you want to use their installer, but you're on your own there), and extract the contents into the .minecraft folder.
An interesting bit of annoyance I ran into, after installing Java 8... Some of the newer versions of forge may not work - you try to start say 1.6.4 w/ forge, and nothing happens. If this is the case, in the profile settings, change the java settings, tick the executable button, and change the directory to C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe, save, and you're good to go.
Oi... that was a lot of words... I'm done typing for the page -.-
Whooo Hooo!
I see that the vanilla game has been updated, just in time for Holloween.
Work on AMCO for 1.7.2 will begin shortly, as soon as enough mods are updated.
Meanwhile I've been very busy trying to finish off the 1.6.4 world some friends and I have been working on.
I hope to include a world download shortly.
Below are some screenshots.
I still have a few finishing touches to do, then I'll post this world for download.

This is world spawn. Path to skeliton grinder is to the left, and our first fields and hut is at right:
Here are some shots from down inside the grinder.
There are tons of secret passages hidden down here.
Can you find the hidden farms, fishing area, and slime generator?
Stepping through the portat brings you to the Nether Hub.
Some friendly monsters have set up shop.
Here is the portal to my base, and our version of Etho's "Death Games"
We play with no regen enabled. Becon Base is where everyone comes to heal up.
There are some really cool transportation paths set up to some other bases there.
At night I kill Endermen and Creepers at the Hunting Grounds.
Alternating nether fence and normal fence lets players in and out, but not mobs.
Stepping through the "Sky Ship" portal gives us a view of the spider grinder (for potions), and vertical reed farm (for paper trades).
The spider grinder has a "MushRoom" for fermenting spider eyes.
And more alternating fences to keep the spiders from falling on you while brewing (notice the spawner at top).
Here is the "Sky Ship" itself.
It's near a huge automatic wheat farm we call the "Aqueduct".
There are lots of farms and pixel art in the area.
Breeding stocks are held in the upper levels. Baby animals fall to lower levels to grow and await harvest.
Here is the pig farm, with super massive "Sheep Farm of Many Colors" looming in background.
Here is a better view of "Baby Jail" our combonation trade center and iron farm.
We've also set up some mini-games. Here is the race track, archery range, and Sumotori areana.
Complete with working scoreboards that pump sand upwards to increase each team's score bar.
