75 of 89 mods that were in AMCO for 1.5.1 rev 5 have now been updated.
Most importantly, everything that adds new stuff durring world generation is now up to date.
That means our 1.5.1 worlds won't get destroyed when upgrading to 1.5.2
So, I'm starting on AMCO for 1.5.2 tonight, which means a new version of AMCO should be ready before the weekend.

Awesome can not wait. Good luck Arrrg, wear these for luck .
I like the hollowing out effect, it makes a qick hidden base that's actualy pretty nice inside.
Besides, if you really want to be rid of the bark and leaves burning them is more fun.
You can build Fire Arrrows to help out with that.
They come from 'Ropes Plus', by AtomicStriker, and are built like this:
You should be able to take down a whole tree with a half dozen good shots.
Makes an even better show at night.
Exploding arrows are also a lot of fun, and you'll get a few saplings.
Place them in a 7x7 square to regrow the tree, which takes a few days.
Kladdeyo,
Have a look on page 250 of the forum.
Yorple kindly sent in several config files for 'Treecapitator'.
Pretty sure one of them is what you want.
Bob,
Your error report looks line the one 'DNS Update Checker' throws when it cannot connect to the internet.
Please be sure that is not in your "mods" folder.
Or perhaps it is some other mod that is trying to check to see if it has updates.
I wish I could disable that "feature" in every mod that has it because:
Checking for updates slows down game start.
Installing updates blindly can cause conflicts with the other 100+ mods in the pack.
If that is not in your mods folder, perhaps it is being caused by one of the other mods that check for updates:
'Treepacitator'
'Millenare'
'Ruins' and others by AtomicStriker
Others? Please PM me your "ForgeModLoader-client-0.log" file if you are still stuck.
Dookie,
Thanks for sending in mod suggestions with links.
I'll check those out.
Dynamic Lights(pretty useful): http://www.minecraft...g-lightsources/
Causes too much lag on too many machienes.
However, 'Lanterns' is included which also adds movable light sources, includeing a headlamp.
Probably uses similar tricks as 'Dynamic Lights'.
Seems to cause less lag because it does not modify every light source in the world, only the special lanterns people make.
Fewer modified light sources to do all those lighting updates for, so less lag.
GalacticCraft (allows space travel, would be amazing. Might need to make this oil and buildcraft oil interchangeable though.): http://www.minecraft...smp-compatible/
I've also been watching this one.
The mod's author does not grant permission to be included in mod packs.
Non-permission statement was sorta hostile, so I won't even bother to ask.
That should be all for now, unless more cool mods are released soon keep up the good work Arrrg!
Thanks again. I'll check out those suggestions I can.
Rev 1 for 1.5.2 will mostly be about recreating 1.5.1 and getting AMCO back online.
There will be a few new mods in it, but not a ton.
Fore example, 'PetBat', also from AtomicStriker, the author of 'DynamicLights'.
I'll expand out to include more mods in later revisions (as long as they are top notch, and dont' kill game balance).
Bob,
Your error report complains of MCpatcher, which sometimes convlicts with 'Optifine'.
Please start over with clean 1.5.1 minecraft.jar file and install forge .611
That will remove MCpatcher code (and my custom colorizers).
Hopefully that will get you going till AMCO 1.5.2 is posted.
I sure hope 1.5.2 comes this weekend. I can't seem to get 1.5.1 to work with 1.5.2. I wish I had an old folder of 1.5.1. Good luck Arrrg, hope all goes well.
I wish there was a launcher for this like FTB or Technic :/. The optifine installer won't work for me because it gives me some error at some point in the install, and the installer without optifine works but when I open up minecraft, I get stuck on the screen showing the AMCO image. I don't know if its just taking forever to load or if its another error...
Nevermind, it just loaded after I posted this xD. I can't get the optifine one to work though.

Yeah, I can't either. I'm just waiting for the 1.5.2 release for the optifine version.
Ok,
I have everything I'd like to include for Rev1 of 1.5.2 running now.
Just a few more finishing touches, like adding the custom colorizor and making MCpatcher and Optifine compatible versions.
Probably be available tomarrow (those last few steps take a ton of time.)
If you are having trouble with 1.5.1, just hang tight till then.
Arrrg could always make a modpack for it on Technic Platform or a Private Pack on FTB Launcher? *Doesn't know if this was said before, didn't happen to go through 262 pages*
how do u install the server i drag and drop what was inside the jar file that was in server download into minecraft_server.jar and i run it and nothing happen please help or make a pre-made server jar for me ty
http://www.minecraft...ne-click-craft/
A quick mod suggestion that should help a ton of players out with crafting. Its the equivalent of Crafting Table II and III (but for 1.5.2)

Yes! I'd kill for a mod like that again. Hopefully it won't lag as much as Crafting Table III, although it's worth any lag it causes XD

*edit*
Now that i think of it, this probably wouldn't be compatible with a lot of mods.
