it's a 128x texture pack but i thought it'd be amazing if you found a way to make this compatible with this pack. I figured it would probably conflict with all of your enviroment packs (wild grass, vines, etc.) but what if you had a seperate download dedicated to scribble craft? (scribble craft edition...hehe) even if you just left the mobs like they are currently i don't think it'd actually really contrast too badly. (3d figures on a handdrawn landscape, it's been done before hehe)
I'm sure something could be worked out to settle a mutual agreement...:biggrin.gif:
i just loved the art style and it made me think it'd go perfect with all of the cool editions of this mod pack. I think the gameplay overhaul, along with the complete visual overhaul would just be a match made in heaven and really draw some more curious in. Even if it was just a spin off of your original concept with an optional link.
Either way, gonna try to patch in the update of the millianare now, mo creatures seems to be working great!
oh my......just got it working! LMAO! just had a java app. open that i had to shut down in task manager, so i copied the textures into the jar, and it's up and running...gonna look into getting rid of the grass mod now..hehe...
Texture Packs:
Everyone can use whatever texture they like best, just install it over the top of AMCO's Steampunky default.
I'm working on installing an in-game texture switcher in next update too.
Make sure to read the previous page about "foliagecolor.png" and "grasscolor.png".
I also accidentially left out images for cookies, booster tracks, and sensor tracks. Fixing...
Mo Creatures:
The mod is updated, but People are reporting bugs in it's froum.
However, it (mostly) seems to work. Waiting on permission to use.
'Humans +' and 'RPG mods':
'Humans +' works and will be in the next update when premission is granted.
Agree about overlap with 'RPG mods' it is out if 'Humans +' is in.
Old Mods?
Quote from Shalashalska »
... half the mods are like 10 updates old. There are no up to date mods as far as I know.
Check the ModTracker spreadsheet. It shows the date when every mod was downloaded.
Note that none of the mods in this version of AMCO were loaded before 25 Apr.
(That's when 'ModLoader' for Beta 1.5_01 was posted by Risugami.)
So, everything is less than 2 weeks old, and up to date.
NetherCraft
Proveing to be a tough fit as expected, but I got it in!
It is not compatable with anything else that places new blocks durring world generation:
'More Trees', 'Flower Craft', 'Wild Caves', 'Fossils', all do not work with 'NetherCraft'
However, an update was just relieced a few minutes ago, so I'll try again.
If that still doesn't work I will split AMCO into 2 parts: One for enhanced Nether, the other for enhanced Overworld.
Optifog
Thanks for the hint Jairdfm, I'll try installing Optifog after Optimine and see how it goes.
MineGunner (the balanced one with flintlocks, not crazy one with mchiene guns)
Dfinitely on the to-do-list. Should work. Getting more difficult fits nailed down first though.

When i first play a game i always read the wiki/info on it and get all the background info.. so if you wouldn't mind, could you set up some sort of item/block/ore page that shows all the added features, rather then a readme with a boring list?
No wiki unless someone else does it (I gotta concentrate on building AMCO, not it's wiki). In the mean time, your best bet it to download the ModTracker spredsheet in the future. (I'm adding a notes column that briefly describes each mod). Take note of any mod marked in Yellow. Click on it's link and read it's home page to get the most from mods marked in yellow. For everything else, just make the 'Recipie Book' by combining a book with black ink. That shows how to make everything! (Including everything that gets added by all mods)
When is the next update?
This week, as soon as permissions for the new stuff is granted.

Thanks for all the good work so far LittleDinamit, but agree that it could be a waist untill after the update this week.
Xie's Farming
Not working. Adds a lot of new items, so probably an item conflict. Will try agian later.

Tiered Flint isn't really a Tool, it's more of a Tweak. Compressed Redstone in there twice.
Yup. Agree. Fixing in next rev.
Also,
The latest version of NetherCraft conflicts with even more stuff than the previous one.
I'm stopping work on developing that path for now, so here is where it stands:
Download: AMCO: Enhanced Nether Edition
No 32x32 nether textures yet, and 'FlowerCraft', 'More Trees', 'Prefix Skelitons', and 'Hidden Doors' are removed. NetherCraft is provided by the most excellent and cooperative scokeev9
Hint: The fastest way into the Nether is to use the "Sands of Time" map and explore a Pyramid. Caution: Pyramids can be very dangerous. Be carefull or it will be your tomb too.
Any idea about what kind of system specs would be a "minimum requirement" for running this? My game must be crashing more than a dozen times an hour with all this loaded. I suspect it's my video card overheating, because it isn't all that great (I had that problem with this machine in the past, although I had replaced the card and that fixed it), but I don't know for certain if that's the problem or if there is some kind of error with one of the mods. I have an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570.
......and it's getting much worse! I just crashed another 3 times just since typing my last reply. It happens most often when digging or when interacting with other creatures, particularly when approaching the people in the villages.
@LeetCrafter; If you don't like it, then leave the thread. Go cry somewhere else.
And people shouldn't credit mod makers that make money off their mods, it's goes straight against the principles for mod making.
No it doesn't. The principles of mod making are in the name. Making a modification. Despite popular belief, there's no Honor Amongst Modders, just like there's none amongst thieves. You don't become some magically charitable and kind person because you make a mod.
Saying you shouldn't credit mod makers if they make money off of their mods is like saying you shouldn't credit Notch - because he makes money off of Minecraft. Either way, someone spent time coding it, and if they want to make money, it's their damn right to, just as it's a carpenter's right to make money off of what he makes.
i have one question. i dont know if its been asked before but is there a simple way to remove a mod from this? more creeps and weirdos makes me want to GOUGE MY F*CKING EYES OUT. until i get a reply i'm gonna get some seperate mods off the list. thx.
Would be nice if there were instructions for a Mac because I tried from the knowledge that I know for adding mods and i just failed Please make some instruction.
First I want to say thank you again Arrrg. And to all the people complaining or saying this is stupid, just go to a different thread. Nobody made you reply or even read this, I think this is amazing and it probably takes a lot of work to figure out all the bugs and stuff involved with mods. If its so easy why don't some of the haters make some and upload them to prove how easy it is, oh wait they don't want to waste their time, well neither do I and because of this I don't have to. It takes an hour of work or more to compile multiple mods and this makes it happen in 10 minutes, so i can do what i enjoy, playing Minecraft, instead of messing with files all day.
I want to thank you again Arrrg and keep up the amazing work.

the only rational explanation to an insane world is insanity
Looks like a great mod, but a few questions before i start:
1. Will I be able to use the Zombe Mod Pack with this?
2. Will I be able to use Too Many Items with this?
3. Will I be able to use Quandry Texture Pack with this?
Edit:
4. Does it work with MovePlus?
5. Does it work with Popcorn Smelting?

3. Will I be able to use Quandry Texture Pack with this?
1 and 2. Probably.
3. This modification comes with Glimmar's Steampunk 32x texture pack preinstalled, but you can easily switch to a 16x texture pack and it will work fine (I think.) There probably will be some bugs though.

Neckbeards! Doctor Cichocki does not approve of stupidity and neither do I, stop the spread of damned useless rules!
Great modpack -- very professionally done. I removed the hd textures and disabled coral reefs/wild grass because my computer is too weak, but it seems very stable thus far. Good that you asked all the mod creators, too.

2. yes i have it and it works
3. yes you can
4. i do not know
5. i do not know
hope this helped
All of these work but I havent tried the Popcorn smelting. So you were wrong about the Zombe mod pack :biggrin.gif:
Thanks. Arrrg, this is awesome!! I use most of the mods on that list, and it takes me hours to get everything working right... Makes life much easier! (I still downloaded the mods from the creators if they use adf.ly,for support, this just makes it easier for me to actually USE them all. So yes, thank you to the creators as well!) *sent PM*
The game loads up fine, so i downloaded and installed too many items. Now the recipes don't work and there is no recipe book. Please help! Thanks in advance.
Really appreciating the steady updates! I just crossed this one texture pack though
(scribblecraft)
