The server files don't use sprites and the client does not need both scubafire and helmets installed ,you can use only what you want. For the record i believe the numbers are 13 for helmets and 8 for scubafire, client only of course :wink.gif:

i love these mods, and i have them installed, but when i press the keys for each thing, nothing happens. i've tried changing the key binding and still no luck. why is this happening?
I downloaded your Block and Tool Options mod to aid in my creation processes and once it had installed and i tried to destroy a block in minecraft the game crashed. I tried replacing my minecraft.jar and had another attempt just encase i did something wrong and the same thing happened. The only other mod i'm running is zombe's flying mod and sun control.

How do I get this to work with dynamic lights? I changed the settings and the game crashes when I put the helmet on.

Make sure you do not have the regular version of miner helmets installed. Install Modloader and the Dynamic Lights mod per it's instructions, then drop the mod_MinerHelmet_Dynamic-Beta1.7.3v1.1.zip file into your ".minecraft/mods/" directory. Edit the dynamiclights.settings file that you should have put in your ".minecraft" directory as instructed.

Note: as mentioned below prior to july 11 the dynamic lights version was missing textures which will cause a crash, redownload the mod_MinerHelmet_Dynamic-Beta1.7.3v1.1.zip if that is the case.
You also need the tree folders that have the sprites from the non-dynamic light version. Without them modloader tries to load image files that do not exist.

Just set mc.thePlayer.isImmuneToFire to true while your wearing your armor and false if your not.
Love the mod,but yeah i hate the fact miner helmets dont work no matter what i try even with dynamic light mod,and im having some weird issue with the scuba suit,when i wear the flippers i can only go down but not up unless i take them off

Miner helmets 4.1 and the alternate version 1.1 were missing a couple of changes related to the Property Reader and would not work without the older Preader being present, this is corrected in 4.2 / 1.2 of each. As for the scuba try the new version i just posted and let me know if you still have that problem.
Updates.
Miner Helmets & alternate version changed recipes, plus changes to accommodate scuba/fireproof changes.
Scuba & Fireproof Suit now two separate mods in case you don't want to use both or use another modders scuba or fireproof.
Scuba & Fireproof clean up of code for base of new changes to come (modgui.class & FireproofPlayer.class eliminated).
Scuba Suit overlay can now be drawn under or over gui (ctrl + r) to switch between over or under.

Added overlay toggle to Helmet overlays mod and ScubaFire mod.
Optimine without optifog is on my list first, the combined version usually is problematic so we will see.

Purely for aesthetics , now that i think of it i might make it just one lamp since i need to update it for some changes i made.
