Love this mod. While I was frolicking through the bowels of the world, I thought to myself, "How cool would it be if I could build pipes up from this oil block here, and from that one waaaaaaay over there, and be able to have their derricks next to each other on the surface!" So, maybe you could add curved pipe pieces to allow us to change direction instead of always having pipes go straight up from the oil source? Just a thought :smile.gif:

I downloaded the required files and I when into the .cgf and changed the some of the IDs but when I changed the AlumLadder ID it crashes the game and I can't get back in. I cannot find the .props file any where on the Zip files.
Can you please help me.
I have to say thanks for making such a fun set of mods. I have been watching your development in the background since you first started making just Rways, and I was quite happy when I saw you had finally made some of them SMP. I added all the ones you have made SMP so far into my server and I was surprised when my player-base adopted them all into their designs. They absolutely love having new light sources, and enjoy the new garage/gate systems. I enjoy it because we run a modern server with IC2, PlasmaCraft, PlasticCraft, and other similar mods and I tend to build more modern cities, so now I actually have the ability to build roads out of decent materials.
I do hope you plan to make the rest of your mods SMP soon, I just lost a few mods (Twilight and SDK Guns) due to some serious bugs from incompatibilities, so I just got another 20 or so block Id's free. I saw you mention that you were considering adding a few new items such as guns and combat vehicles, and I eagerly await to see how that goes. Also, I do understand if you plan on waiting to update the rest of your mods, such as MetalWorks, Modern-Tech, and Heavy-Vehicles until 1.2 because of the ID increase that is being developed by Jeb, but if you were to release them for 1.1 I can tell you, you would have at least one server running them in a heartbeat. (I may have said only 20 id's, but trust me, I would MAKE them fit :cool.gif: )
Regardless, thanks for making some great mods and I hope to see more soon.
I could have written almost this same post. I think everyone has a runway for their planes now on our server, and the mod has shown itself to function flawlessly. I have 6 block IDs remaining, so I'll almost certainly have to wait for 1.2, but I would love to see the other mods on my server.
We used the Custom Stuff mod to add another tarball recipe to accept IC2 water cells in addition to water buckets, so we can even automate the production of rways.

You are aware that I could accuse you of the very same thing? First, Rways has existed since April of 2011 and used the same sprites for its entire history. Your mod seems to have first appeared eight months later.
Second, my paint rollers look nothing like yours. I designed them from scratch almost a year ago and actually believe that Alblaka drew inspiration from mine for IC2. However, I don't care because IC2 is awesome.
I would suggest you do your research before flinging wild accusations.
I wanted to let everyone know that I have made some changes to existing mods along with working on ModernWar. I've almost finished all of the sprites for ModernWar but still have a very large amount of coding left. This is coupled with my academic responsibilities of homework, programming a robot for my senior capstone project, and designing a new website from the ground up for my Air Force ROTC Detachment. I have therefore set a release date for ModernWar:

On a side note, I seem to have fixed HeavyVehicles. Get ready for this.
The vehicles no longer handle like boats.
That's right, folks. I've finally modified their speed calculations such that they no longer randomly drift, be hard to park, move in directions they are not facing, etc. Now vehicles only go where you want them to go and it is awesome. I'll be releasing this all with ModernWar, which will probably come out some time into 1.2 due to the tons of IDs DotMW uses now.
P.S. There are a lot of cat profile pictures in a row here. :S
It seems that your download links aren't working, or at least the first three. They redirect to the mediafire homepage.

If I type in the links directly, they go to the right place, but adf.ly sends you the wrong way.

And also you could refine the Gravel (id:13) into blackpowder/gunpowder. pretty nice for Flan's mod and for SDK gun mod, it would be convenient.
