love the castle gate mod but one thing, could you make a similar thing except a horizontal one. basically a drawbridge. it would work the make way but with a diffrent trumpet and would retract horizontally. when it is off there will be no path, only a tiny bit like in the caste gate indicating that the gate is there. when it is on the path will be passable. this would be a great addition and one many people would appreciate. you Rock! now i can finnaly add a decent portcullis to my castle rather than a cheap open arch.

Next, I do feel bad about the large amount of IDs that I use; it's a bit sloppy. However, Minecraft 1.2 is apparently going to have room for 4096 block IDs, so I don't feel so bad anymore.
Finally, I'll be spending this weekend working on ModernWar and changing some small things in HeavyVehicles. ModernWar is going to be a large mod, like Metalworks. My To-Do list for it has gotten pretty long. I'm looking at adding composite armor, bullet fabrication plants, some guns, a mountable heavy machine gun, sandbags, concertina wire, tank traps, and landmines. Once this mod is finished, it can serve as one of the baseline requirements for other projects of mine such as WarVehicles and Helicopters. Keep in mind, however, that is is all speculative. I am still a student (getting my degree this year though!) and my academic responsibilities come first.

I have an idea that I think would be great. Maybe you could try to work with sdk and his gun mod, Merk Gamer and his Modern Minecraft War gun mod, also flan and his gun mod. This would be awesome. Make them all smp please. Also what would be cool is if you could work with kaevator and his slope mod to integrate a sloped rway and swalk road so we can implement roads without having to use a completely flat map or useing mcedit.

I agree with StigTopGear. I already have all those mods and this, and it would really be for the best if you guys worked together, if anything for standardization.

Actually I just came up with an idea. You could add a system where you right click the humvee with a certain block and then it changes the skin to your liking.
