You could always try to make them and mouse over them to find out...

4 iron bars is the pipe
5 iron bars is the grate
4 iron bars and 1 furnace is the pump
4 iron bars and 1 redstone dust is the water sensor

@Djoslin: When you do implement pressure there will have to be a way to neutralize it, otherwise water towers will have a tendency to flood the farms they are supplying...

Oh noes! Gravity creates pressure and now the water is trying to equalize! My livelihood!
By reading this thread I seen something about pressure.
If that is to be added later in the mod development, I then have a question about it. Will water be able to break weak blocks like glass, if its pushed on with a lot of water? If yes, then I can't wait.
make the ocean salt water! and make it so salt water can't generate obsidian, it will turn into cobblestone. there must also be 1 block3 off water to make obsidian. so we will have to dig tunnels from lakes into lava pools to create obsidian. because obsidian is a bit too easy to obtain in my opinion ^^ it's much funnier in terraria!
and if you heat the salt water with iron blocks so it dissapears, then salt will be left on the iron blocks :biggrin.gif:
Ehhh, I have Better Than Wolves installed, so for some of those recipes I need normal water. However, when I tried to make normal water by mixing a gold bar and 3 redstone in a block of water, that water remains finite. Any help?
I can't make original water anymore. Is it still possible ?
(Puting 3 redstone dust and 1 diamond in water, and add/remove water several time ?)
:sad.gif:
I would like to say that finite liquid + plasma craft causes a bug : original block and plasma craft's cannot be placed anymore in water when using these two mods. Others mods block still can however.
I talked a bit with soundmaniac and he says that nothing on his mod can causes it. Could you look atfer that please? :smile.gif:
1. What mods you have installed? ModLoader 1.6.6, PropertyReader V1.20, and The Spider Queen 1.6.6.
2. Did you install PropertyReader and Modloader? Yup.
3. Did you delete META-INF? Yes.
4. Do you have a crashlog from the game? Minecraft freezes upon starting, even when started with the error log file.
5. Have you installed mods before? Several.
6. Did you copy all of the *.class files and the \imgz\ folder with everything in it into minecraft.jar? Yep.
This is as far as the cmd part gets:

PropertyReader v1.30 for Beta 1.6.6 Loaded
Not sure why it says 1.30, the forum page says 1.20. As well, when I start it with ModLoader installed, works. ModLoader and Property Reader, works. Modloader, Property Reader, and TSQ, doesn't work. I suppose I'm being kind of vague, but I can't really help it.
I've been having a lot of trouble with this since 1.6 came out. Several problems. 1: If I use the newest version of Property Reader (and FiniteLiquid and ModLoader), Minecraft black-screens. Yes, I did delete meta-inf. I'm not using any other mods. Fortunately, I was able to download the previous version of Property Reader and the game at least starts. I create a world, it creates the finite water, all the crafting recipes work. However, pumps do not work. I can place the blocks, they connect to each other, but nothing happens. I right-click on the pump outside of the water, nothing happens. I right-click on the pump inside the water, nothing happens. If I connect a lever to the pumps, I can activate them(changing the color), but they don't pump. Grates still work, I haven't tested water sensors. Any idea what's going on? I've tried redownloading everything and adding them in any combination I can think of (old versions of mod loader, property reader, etc.)

Thanks.
It's not quite a flaw. Sand really DOES work that way. It acts similar toa fluid at times and a solid at others.
