Alright, I've updated Underground Survival to 1.7.3! :biggrin.gif:
I haven't had time to test it yet, besides the basic works-or-not, so tell me if something looks odd, as I am a bit out of practice >_<
I'm leaving for a bit, but expect any errors with US to be fixed later in the evening as well as Iron Rods for 1.7.3 :smile.gif: http://adf.ly/2dMVF
Iron Rods (without Underground Survival) have been updated to 1.7.3 :biggrin.gif: As usual, tell me if something goes wrong. :wink.gif: http://adf.ly/2dZPG
Thanks for making it for 1.7.3. i might do a mod review....I love this mod i even changed my minecraft version to 1.6.6 to play sorry i didnt respond soon..........lol any mods know not to work with this?
I usually play mods separately, so I don't know of any incompatibilities except the ones I've already resolved, although new incompatibility might have been added, I haven't really checked. But basically, most mods that add tools will be incompatible as they edit the EnumToolMaterial class, although those incompatibilities are the easiest to resolve. Other incompatibilities might come from overlapping block/item ids, but last I checked there was a separate mod which would fix that for you.
Now what will be really fun is exploring mines with my mod :biggrin.gif: Although I guess mines kind of beat the whole point of my mod, as there is plenty of wood in them...
I'm afraid I don't have nearly as much time this year to mod, and now that Minecraft has wooden supports just about everywhere under the ground, the whole point of my Underground Survival Mod is gone, so I will no longer be updating it. I will still update the Iron Rods Mod if people show interest in it, however, as it is significantly easier to update, and I personally like it more.
Iron Rods has been updated to 1.0.0! http://adf.ly/3ypue
Modloader required as usual, and if you see any errors, tell me, I haven't done this in quite a while :biggrin.gif:
This looks pretty cool, but I was wondering something. Do the tools that had hafts made of wood before (axe, hoe, shovel, sword, pick) have increased durability? As in will they last longer than their wood handled counterparts?

Hmm, I guess that got lost in one of the first post revamps... But yeah, the tools with iron rods are twice as durable and a bit faster.
Wow this seems cool this will totally help when i am out of wood... To bad there isn't a mod to remind me to bring food before go into a cave... Or not out of wood (i ALWAYS have wood just when i forget to bring some...)
