Lots More Humans
for Minecraft Beta 1.5_01
This mod adds more human mobs into the game.
This mod also adds some items for the mobs: A battle axe (Item ID: 5000), dagger (Item ID: 5001), spear (Item ID: 5002), and a gun with bullets (Gun ID: 5003, Bullet ID: 5004). You can see these items in action in the video below.
-- Here are some things that apply to all of the humans --
They do not spawn on peaceful!
They don't attack you unless you attack them.
(Unless the human is a hunter)
-- First Mobs: The Barbarians --
Includes: Barbarian and Female Barbarian.
The Barbarians wander around the forests, plains, swampland, savanna, swamplands, and a few other places. They are searching for food and for natives to kill, because they hate natives. The males wield a Battle Axe, which they rarely drop. A female may also have some pork on her. If one of the barbarians is attacked, barbarians nearby will also attack. Be careful!
Male Barbarian's texture is by wimpzilla. Female Barbarian's texture is by mrsminergirl. (I need a new texture for the female barbarian, please help!!)
-- Second Mobs: The Natives --
Includes: Native1, Native2, Chief Native, and Female Native.
The natives walk around looking for places to stay and eat. Places like the plains, savannas, swampland, and shrubland. They are constanly getting in fights because the argressive barbarians won't leave them alone. There are several different types in the natives tribe. There is the male natives who either use a bow or spear, (with a chance of dropping their awesome spear) a chief native, (who is the strongest, rarely drops diamonds, and will soon have magical powers) and the female native, who uses he raw fish to beat you to death.
Native w/ bow's texture is from sioux-six-four. Native w/ spear's texture is made by me. Female Native texture is made by me. Chief Native texture is by sioux-six-four and improved by Evader.
-- Third Mob: Sand Bandit --
A sand bandit hands around sand and the desert. That is were he stays alive, eating cake and sand. He tries to stay alone, defending himself with a dagger- which he isn't afraid to use. Watch yourself around him, because he is also a thief! (Not yet added) Kill him and you may get cake, or even better, his dagger.

-- Fourth Mob: Hunter --
Tries to stay alone, rides solo. Can be found almost anywhere and is very aggressive. He carries around his rifle, which he will use when attack. Be warned that he attacks on sight. Not a friendly guy attack. Sometimes he will drop his gun. You can craft to bullets by using a stone block with the furnace.
Texture is by walkinjunk and was edited by me.

- Natives vs Barbarians*
- Add more, make things work better and have more depth.
- Add villages/houses for mobs.
- Bandit takes stuff.
- Water Mobs!!^
- Add other mobs like buffalo and fish*
- Make friends with the humans*
- Make females follow males, Natives follow Chief Native.
- Make certain groups spawn together.
* = Have the code, although it doesn't work perfectly, so it's not in this release.

Holy epic wakamole, i like this A LOT, i will add it to my map Imperial Lands, however, do you plan updating this mod when every minecraft updates comes out? (of course, as long as the minecraft mod pack gets updated)

I wouldn't mind the mod if it was make compatible with GUI API so you could turn many of the mobs off. I like the Orcs and the Goblins. But My word became littered with annoying mobs. The gimp dudes that laugh? WTF.
This mod would be cool if it was toned down. I tryed to change the spawn rate with the .props file included but there still where tones of goons.
Now if the encounters where more rare I may endorse this mod. But as is, it sucks!
Pleas don't take that the wrong way. This is still better then Humans +, I hat that mod too because of the same reasons.
Fix these things and the mod would be very cool imho:
1. Add a reliable GUI interface to control encounters.
2. Tone down the sound effects. Because Home made grunts always suck! Trust me I used to mod Doom.wads
try to sample the sounds from other "refined scores" for a better result.
4. Less encounter... oh I said that...
Otherwise, It has so much potential, and I realize this probably was a lot of hard work on your part. So please don't take this to heart. I's just not for me. Unless there are some improvements in the future.

Umm the gimp dudes? Laughing? I didn't add this. The only noise they make is when they get hit, and that's the default minecraft sound for a person when they get hurt. Could add better sounds but don't have them.

I guess you mean world. I lowered the spawn rate pretty low so I don't know how you found so many.

There was even going to be a party for you. A big party. That all your friends were invited too. I invited your best friend the companion cube. Of course, he couldn't come because you murdered him. All your other friends couldn't come either, because you don't have any other friends. Because of how unlikeable you are. It says so right here in your personal file: UNLIKEABLE, liked by no one, a bitter, unlikeable loner, who's passing shall not be mourned, SHALL NOT BE MOURNED. That's exactly what it says.
