I'm getting an error while mining around bedrock on the server side saying that

This causes blocks to break, not drop anything, then regenerate where they were.
I was getting errors similar before, but after 2 of them they stopped. So I'm not complaining. If it keeps happening try to find out exactelly whats causing it, that way they can fix it.
I'm pretty sure BMS will NEVER use Modloader unless the entire population of the world points a gun at BMS xD
The cool thing is, I don't care because BMS will become better than every other mod combined since every other mod over does what they do. Oh and I'm pretty sure there might be bukkit compat eventually. So I'm happy ^.^
What I would like to see is a discussion on content to add surface side.
There has been a bit of interest for the inclusion of more farming/plant variety. What are peoples thoughts on the different plant types that can be included.
Personally, I would like to see the inclusion of:
Trees:
The question here is whether to have trees that players can plant. That is, either the player finds the trees randomly or the player can make orchards?
Herbs:
I would like to see more of an alchemy side to this section. What different types of herbs and properties would you like to see within the game?
Flowers:
My proposal for the flowers is to use the flowers as dyes. So introduce another 6 types of flowers for the missing colours. (I think its 6 missing ones. Correct me if I am wrong)
Crops:
What different crops would people like to see introduced into BMS?
Now remember the plants do not have to exist in RL ("Real Life" for the noobs :blink.gif: )
So let thy imaginations run wild and come up with some interesting plants.....
Oh and try to have multiple purposes for everything that you suggest!
I Believe apple tree's should be added as I sad earlier, Its going to happen sooner or later. Simple conversion would make orange tree's.
Idk about herbs but some effects could be jumping higher, walking on water, moving faster, and perhaps mobs ignore you.
For crops I'd say carrots, lettuce, and watermelons would be more than enough, but then again a lot of people really enjoy their farming.
I kind of skimped on purposes and more in depth stuff, but whatever I guess I'm just adding to the synergy of the environment.
Edit:
Oh and tree's, I'd rather them be plantable but rarely will you get 2 saplings from 1 tree, That way it takes time to have a surplus of whatever that tree makes.
Ok, I've been looking at the files for 4.5 and what is this new dark green ore? doesn't seem to have any tools but it has an ingot, armor and a storage block? o_o
Edit: and a greyish blue one?
Edit2: FREAKING TYPOS D:<

soooo it hasn't been a few days, but, hey, I have nothing else to do right now lol.
Yes, there are teasers in BMS v0.4.5. I am sure everybody has seen the blue flower by this point :tongue.gif:.
We know the surface needs more attention. Trust me, by BMS v1.0 nobody will be complaining XD. We are barely at 0.4.5 and yet were becoming one of the larger mods out there. I can't wait till we finish this mod! It's gonna be awesome. We are a long ways off from that lol.
We hit over 7100 downloads XD.
Thanks for all the input guys and gals. Your support is greatly appreciated!
OK then :tongue.gif: Just thought people would like to know about the possible future haha. I'm even more curious about the greysih blue ore now >_> haha

Fudgy Fetus,
Good find with the green ore, if you want, you can update it for your texture pack, as it will be in an upcoming version. Just so you know, the grayish-blue ore is actually diamond, we switched it over to our texture pack, as we slightly changed up how diamond is done. All functionality is the same as it has been in previous versions of BMS, it's just a little bit cleaner in the code now. Sorry to spoil any excitement you had about that one.
Keep the ideas coming everyone, soon, Shawn and I will be hard at it and push out another version for you guys!
Some Suggestions!
1- Add the option of using your own Textures for the Stained Glass!
-BSS Suite textues 0r
-Default textures
----------
2- Add Blocks that Light up When Powered with redstone.
Also Make those Blocks be light up in Different Colors!
Like Dye = Colored Stained glass, Dye= Colored Light block! - Make epic Rave rooms
Nice Dark Red rooms. etc.
----------
3- Add Road Blocks! - Make some awesome city, roadblocks = 4 Gravel! (We need to make gravel more usefull then just getting flint and steel!

I am curious as to what function road blocks would serve, other than looking like a road. Would they increase speed or something? I support the other two ideas.

kirbyfighter12! Haven't heard from you in awhile, glad to see you are still keeping up with BMS! I'll try to address your requests as best as I can (you know how we don't like to post definite decisions all the time).
As you most likely have seen, we hear at Blackmodule Studio have been working on incorporating texture pack support. The issue we have is one of how to solve the issue of providing support for texture packs for our additional blocks and items. The issue stems from the fact, that they are unique items, and not stock Minecraft. Shawn has attempted to elicit the help of some texture pack artists out their to design different texture packs for all of the BMS items/blocks that have been added. In fact a nearly complete hi-res one was posted a page or so back. Just so you know, texture pack support is a priority issue (granted it is not top priority) and will be addressed as soon as we have all the resources available to address the issue.
Now, as far as the colored/lit up block idea. It is actually already on the drawing board (I had the idea about a month ago) and may be implemented in an upcoming version. Now, here are my thoughts on it. I had the idea, because I remember a mod back in Alpha (not sure if it ever made it into Beta) that had different colored redstone torches. I thought it was a cool idea, but I never really tried the mod. I thought, why not make a solid cube, and have one face of it light up, as if it were a single pixel on a monitor. Now, on top of this, I thought, why not make it edittable so that you can change the color of an individual block (similar to changing the pitch of a note block). This would allow the ability to create a true monitor! So, that's my two-cents on it. Long story short, it is still on the drawing board, but we are considering it.
Now I can't say for sure, but I do believe that Shawn would agree with me on this one, we most likely won't be adding road blocks, sorry. Now I don't wanna leave you hanging with that, so I will give a brief reason behind this. We have said it quite a few times, BMS's goal is to add to the existing dynamic and theme of Minecraft, not entirely change it. In fact, in the latest update, we even de-modernized the grenade so that it would continue to fit with the theme. Now, one thing that may be possible is working on some system where walking speed is adjusted based off of the type of block you are on, and then we could possible implement a cobblestone path type block (or just use cobblestone!) that would serve as this 'road-block' (think Wurm: Online). Now this is something that Shawn and I will have to discuss. I think that is as close as we could get to a road-block without actually leaving the current theme of Minecraft.
Thanks for the suggestions and support,
Blackmodule Studio

Still getting the error on the server side. I was digging out gravel around the bed stone again. Perhaps the change with the block rotation when the gravel dropping on it is messing up a parameter. I am not sure entirely ill keep seeing if thats whats going on
you guys should totally make some furniture items, when my girlfriend plays with me thats all she does, makes furniture, so more options for that would be really great :biggrin.gif: plus it would liven up a home.
Hey guys. I can't seem to play BMS on multiplayer with my server. I start the server up, that's OK and all, sure. Then I try to play my client on the server, and I crash. Yes, I crash. My server does not crash. I have a stock installation of Minecraft with 1.6.6 and your BMS mod and that's it, along with the server installation just like you said. (Put the files in the server folder in your server.jar). But I get a black screen and then I crash and my server says disconnect.genericreason. Anyone know the reason for this? Thanks

check that you deleted the meta file and make sure you also installed it on your client and don't forget to drop the one folder in the resource section
Hey it lets me play Singleplayer. I deleted the META-INF folder on the server folder and the client folder, but I for some strange reason still cannot play the multiplayer with the BMS mod. I can play on my Multiplayer server for about .. 30 seconds give or take 10 each time (it's sporadic) and then I crash!
