i mean rly?! do u really think hes gonna keep people waiting so they can spam him more?! Give the man some time!
i know im being hypocritical here but still commenting on the dumb comments is wasting more of FC's time to code, sorry but i had to say something with all these dumb people on here
My PM is completely shut-down right now, and I don't believe I can even send from it. Could you possibly send me an email at the address I sent you before closing it down so we can organize this :smile.gif:
And with regards to the Detector Block problem, I'll have to think about it. Nothing immediately springs to mind as to what it might be.
I can help too if you would like. I have nothing better to do with my time.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Add me on MSN if you wanna chat about minecraft and stuff.

Same here, If you need help im sure the regulars before the yogscast fans came along will help :tongue.gif:
Ive got some experience with forum admin etc.
Ok, soo cool mod. But why avoid the mod pack. I see the point in your mod and I like it , exspecially after this most recent update which includes a few things i despise, mainly shears. But anyway, I am upset by your decision to not allow the yogscast to use your mod in their yogbox. It would get your message out more considering a ver large amount of people watch their videos and play minecraft, Im not going to come up with any fake statistics but I would say quite a few of their subscribers play minecraft, and quite a few of them use this yogbox. I had seen your mod befor they showed it on video but I had just thought it improved the wolf mechanic and after seeing it I am quite impressed. But I wish you would let them use it,it would get publicity for your point and many people are desiring it. I just want you to see that it can only really benefit you, even if you said you wouldnt ever get into a mod pack, sometimes going back on your word is actually a really good thing, an in my own opinion this is one of those time.
Sorry for any spelling errors it is somewhat late and my ability to type degrades when I tire.

Like I said (what? About 100 pages ago now), I'm available to help with anything really. Except this weekend.
hurry up and make it so you can use this in 1.7_02 already
1.Learn to be patient.
2.MCP needs to update if it still already hasnt, first.
3.Go play around with pistons for a few days and it'll be done before you know it.
Flowerchild, the thing I was talking of was my server. Remember I asked you for permission to use it and you told me to keep in contact about how it is going. So when MC updated I tried to contact you so you would know where I am at on porting your mod. I am sorry that you forgot me and I probably seemed a little like the people saying "UPDATE NOW" or something like that. I just thought since I last messaged you 2 or 3 days ago you would recognize me. As I said though, once your PM is back up or if I really need to, post on this topic, I will keep you up to date on the porting.
people stop trying to change the name the name is to make a point because notch is sitting there making pistons and a pet when this mod is worth 10x all those things so if notch sees this page he might hopefully get an idea tht people dont need a pet or a block to be pushed up and down but everything in this mod fits nicely to the game. also will u update this mod for 1.7

Oh yeah man, I remember the conversation, just didn't recognize the name, and I've talked to several people about potential "releases" that you may have been referring to. As I said, I'm terrible with names :smile.gif:
Yeah, I suspect that by the 9th the definitely be a new version. That's entirely dependent on MCP updating, which is of course out of my hands, but I think it highly unlikely that won't be resolved by then.
First I'd like to say that the BTW mod is incredible and I can't thank you enough for all the work you've put into it. It makes minecraft what it really should be!
I think implementing a way to create true redstone wire would be very useful. Perhaps use the cloth already in the mod as an electrical insulator. The recipe could be something like: 4 cloth surrounding a piece of redstone dust (top, bottom, and sides)= 4 redstone wire. The whole point would be to have redstone wires that could be place next to each other without automatically attaching to one another. This would allow for more compact redstone circuity. Also, it would allow multiple redstone circuits to be directly next to each other without interfering with each other. These insulated redstone wires would act exactly the same as redstone dust does now but it would only be able to transfer/receive a current to the spaces directly in front and behind it. If a turn in the wire was required perhaps right clicking a section of the wire could change the shape of the wire. By right clicking one could cycle through a choice of: bent left, bent right, and straight. Possible other choices could be left and right T-shaped wire, and a + shaped wire. Regular redstone dust could be used in conjunction with the wire to allow for interaction with another circuit if these other choices were not implemented so the T and + shaped wires aren't truly necessary, they'd just be a nice addition.

Pro-tip: if you need to isolate a signal in a densely spaced circuit, use repeaters.
Only single for the time being. Multiplayer is going to have to wait until after 1.8, which is some ways away.
since 1.8 is most likely going to change the format for SMP ive been told FC is waiting til that update to make an SMP version of the mod

thanks for the info to bad i have to weight tho :sad.gif: but oh well its better then never

If you want it so badly, update it yourself and quit rushing people.

Stormbyrd will prevail!
As tempting as this conversation may be man, I really can't afford to be taking the thread off-topic with the amount of traffic at the moment.
Once the new forum is setup, perhaps we can discuss it there.
