To break up this extremely long and pointless arguement (though it serves to promote the mod ^_~) I have a request/suggestion. I hope you won't find it unreasonable as it shouldn't interfer/overpower anything and serves to better on what Notch (in my opinion) clearly failed at. :dry.gif:
I posted this in the suggestion section as a response to "Hidden Pressure Pads" but I assume it will be ignored:
I was thinking of an idea similar to this but instead of requiring 8 of the block you want it to blend with, I'd rather just 1, allowing easy creation in the player crafting square. From this you can choose the location that the pad is on the block (side/top). As well, I don't believe it should stick out. If it is obvious at a glance your trap has failed. Crafting examples below.
x = Empty space
p = Pressure Pad
B = Block type for the hidden pad
Pad on top of block:
x p
x B
or
p x
B x
A player who steps on this pad would sink 1/4 of a block letting them know they've triggered the trap
Pad on side of block:
x x
p B
(or other possible variations with left and right)
This block would sense players standing in the block next to the face of the pressure pad (indicated by lines on the block when sides are exposed) and then press in 1/4 a block (as if to assume the player leaned against the wall and triggered the trap).
A pressure pad on the bottom of a block (for ceilings) could also be done but I don't believe many would fall for such a trap as it would require jumping into it (although it may be good for puzzles).
I also suggest hidden buttons (full blocks that have a buttons embedded in the top/bottom/side that is visible with a black/dark gray outline), crafted in the same manner as hidden pads but with buttons in place of pads.
I feel these two concepts would further richen the minecraft experience and make traps far more likely to succeed.
I'm fairly confident in your ability to produce these as they seem pretty trivial and should have beeen incorporated in the vanilla to begin with.

Pretty nuts, i knew something was up, then saw someone posted it on notch's twitter. Has to be why it's exploded all of a sudden. I feel bad i havent made a vid lately (built a HUGE thing and then a glitch in platforms messed up the end result so i abandoned it)

Oh and I don't understand why many of the Yogscast fans want this added so badly? Are they just that lazy that they cant stand to download one more thing? It's not like having this and the Yogbox at the same time is impossible... :mellow.gif: I'm a Yogscast fan too but I'm not going to beg the man (or woman?) when it's clearly written that he refuses to package it with other people's works.
Is there any place I can see an example of a dung factory? My current plan is to build something like this: (bigger of course and adjusted as needed for the way water flows.)

^yes^ but you are being polite about it. so, the people who update that mod update their thread. :two cents: I would suggest FC waits for 7.3 , look at the list of bugs. Looks like it should work. You would have to play with your streams as you have only one hopper in the middle.

This forum uses bbcode, not html, so all your formatting changes go in [] brackets instead of <>. There are also some different commands, but it doesn't take long to get used to it.

For the time being, just don't copy ct.class from Optifog/OptiMine. It apparently modifies the EntityRenderer class, which breaks moving anchors.

What the hell... For the time that I had this mod in 1.6.6 Companion Cubes never dropped any ****...
