You know that big glowing thing in the sky and how when it goes down another big glowing thing takes its place? There you go
Ok, I think I'm just really really really(I mean really) dense, because I still don't get it.
I mean, I guessed it had something to do with nights and dark places, but I see absolutely no difference to the darkness or anything else of nights or dark places.
Maybe it's because I play with my light settings on bright?

Where might I find an old minecraft file? Prior to the 1.6 conversion. I don't know how to install this mod on the new version (if it's even possible), and I've been wanting to try this mod for a long time but can't because I don't have the old version of the launcher anymore. I thought the next update might add compatibility for 1.6 to enable installation in the new launcher, but it doesn't, so that's why I ask now instead of a couple months ago.
Honestly, I love the work you've put into your mod. I've always thought the original game was a little wussy on the survival aspect, but this mod makes surviving and thriving a difficult but mostly rewarding playthrough.
My god I feel like a idiot.
I think I found a new favorite thing.
Now if we could have zombies attracted to light, and the ability to sit on benches, it would be epic.
But hugely unnecessary, so I guess you can ignore this.
I'm just daydreaming about sitting on a stone bench on a pillar in the new moon, with a single redstone lamp/glowstone/torch/whatever looks fancy lighting up the pillar, and hoards of zombies coming out of the dark.
Actually you can already live out that fantasy of yours with features that exist in BtW.

Sadly, I'm still in the pre-mechancial age, and very ignorant of most features of the mod, especially the subtle ones. There is only so much testing in creative can reveal.
This is a really awesome mod. Unfortunately i can't get it because my only computer is a 2007 Mac :p. But, i had a suggestion...
Hardcore Roots! basically every tree grows a "root" block under where the sapling was placed. this makes permanent tree farming areas completely obsolete!
I do like the idea of there being something beneath a tree that would require removal, but such a thing would break existing automated tree farms, and from what I understand, FC tends to try to avoid breaking builds when possible.

See...I kept telling everyone that wolves are evil despicable creatures, but would anyone listen? No, of course not, and now you're all ******, so "haha...told you so".

Is anyone else having trouble with tamed wolves pooping? I have fed my dog multiple times without leaving it and it will not poop. After about 15-20 minutes it starts whining and I can feed it again.
Edit: I am on the latest release.

Poop rules are slightly different now as part of Hardcore Hunger for Wolves, but the same basic restrictions apply in that you must ensure that the wolf has a clear line of fire into which to expel.
One thing to note though is that the wolf pooping is no longer tied to it getting hungry, so if you just checked back later and it changed state, it may have fired some time in between and you missed out on collecting its output.
If you keep it fed, it will definitely feel the need to let loose at some point though.

I have stood in sight of the wolf for 3 feeding cycles and it has not pooped. it has at least 2 blocks in every direction open. I have fed it several more times and have made sure to check back every 5 minutes. As best I can tell, this wolf has never pooped.

The moon man. Check the phase of the moon.

Well, the method I've found to be the easiest:
1) Download MultiMC.
2) Create a new 1.5.2 instance.
3) Add the BTW jar.zip file under "jar mods".
And you're done.
To create the jar.zip file, just copy the contents of "MINECRAFT-JAR" (in the BTW download) into a new zip file.

There is no reference. There never was. Your friends from minitru will arrive shortly to help you Remember.
2+2 is 4... or was it 5...
It's now 1985. 1984 references are so passe

Ok, but one more thing: Big Brother is watching, always.
See, that's not even a 1984 reference anymore. That's just reality
