I'm messing around with an idea I had, but it seems I'm foiled again (not aesthetic this time). Bellows won't blow items off of pressure plates? I'm using sawdust in this case, and a wooden PP.
On topic with some of FC's previous rants about the game industry, I recently took some time to play a new MC-in-space knockoff recommended to me by a friend. True to form, they seem to have copied many of the worse aspects of the game, having recently implemented a confusing crafting system that can make any item, although all items can still be bought by the omnipresent "shops" that can be found within a 5 minute time frame.
I played that game too. I think it can be fun, but it feels like really early alpha.

Nah, currently the air coming out of the bellows is blocked by *any* block (much like water or lava), and the geometry of the individual blocks isn't taken into account. Thus, the pressure plate block you're using is serving to disrupt the air flow.
I *might* change that up a bit though. Will think on it.
Due to the actions of a small number of individuals, I've felt the need to update BTW's copyright to explicitly forbid decompilation and reverse engineering:
The particularly relevant section is highlighted in bold. If you are making a legitimate add-on for BTW, you may contact me to request such permission.
My apologies for the inconvenience this represents (to me as well), but unfortunately there are members of the community that have decided to abuse my good will about such things making life more difficult for everyone in the process.
If all else fails, use an upwards facing Detector Block.
Wow. How did I miss that lol? I'm making something similar to a decay timer and I've always used pressure plates for those so I guess I had some brain lock. Thanks
Hey FlowerChild, did you purposely make even the modloader mods not load up with btw? Cuz I can't get craftguide and rei's minimap to work... (kinda ed )Also spending like 10 seconds to break a piece of wood a getting only one plank for ir is really irritating...

The very first result you get when you search the Readme file for the term "modloader":
-Added an internal add-on handling system that effectively replaces Modloader within BTW. This was done for a number of reasons, but mainly so that the code for SSP & SMP would be more uniform since ModLoader does not have a server version. This made the BTW code-base more annoying to maintain, and rather difficult for add-on authors to have their mods function in multiplayer. Note that BTW will no longer function with ModLoader installed, and thus is now likely incompatible with all mods that make use of it.

Yes BTW is no longer compatible with modloader you can still use the No Loader version of craftguide as for rei's minimap it is cheating and ruins several of BTW's features.

Thanks man, lol I feel like a lazy bum now for not reading the readme Also I'm glad to meet a death note fan

Thanks man, I played btw a long time ago and got pretty much almost all you can get from the mod but I wasn't able to really exploit craftguide to really consider it cheating, but who am I to talk here

He meant that you can exploit the minimap's features, not the craft guide.

I apologize if this is an inappropriate question, but what exactly prompted this action? Was it just the antics of add-on modders internally, or something else like the Forge Rip-off mod that was in the works a bit back?

Yeah, as mentioned above, he was referring to the minimap.
A big part of the game in BTW revolves around navigation and the potential for getting lost is a big part of the experience.
A minimap basically nullifies a wide range of features that have to do with that, removing a good chunk of challenge and incentive to build from the game.

Yup.
Ok, so I just watched that, and I must thank you for the lolz
Oh, and is tradition here: Haha...noob.

Aren't I?
At least you're honest about it.

Hehe...while I appreciate the sentiment, as I've said many times: I'm not an artist
since the 1.2.1 laucher update lets you use past versions all the way back to beta 1.0
