Why do you hate wolves?
I like the mod, but it kind of seems to me that you're making minecraft better to attract other people's eyes, and then turn them over from wolves.
Would of liked it, but I love wolves more.
I'm the opposite. I was attracted by the title
And you love wolves. So? Seems that you hadn't even tried the mod. There's really no much wolf hating in the actual mod besides the title. You will be disappointed.
Although I find your idea interesting I feel obliged to let you know that Flower doesn't pay much heed to suggestions. If you've got ideas and they're burning too hot to just let go, pop on over to the forums, register, and make a thread for your ideas there.

If English is your first language, please have at least a basic understanding of how it works.
I am working on a completely automatic obsidian generator - a have a prototype running but i am having a little trouble figuring out how to get about 6 seconds delay between opening and closing a lava gate using a turntable - any ideas?
Well, they're his forums. You're more likely to get a response there than here. But remember that it's really unlikely he'll actually accept any suggestions, he's got loads of ideas already and [hyperbole] hundreds of suggestions thrown at him every day. [/hyperbole]

I just added specific mention of the Bellows being required for rendering to occur in the descriptions of Glue and Tallow to hopefully help avoid these questions in the future.
You added this info to the OP? Well, your mod - I won't tell you how to do things. But if it were me, I would have put it in something people read. :smile.gif:
Lol! I don't have enough middle-fingers to respond to that one :smile.gif:
This is why we freaking love you Flower. I'm loving the recent updates, any hints as to what we can expect next or when?
Also I was wondering if you ever though of recruiting people to help you with the coding for your mod, lighten your load a bit, I'm sure there are plenty of modders who would be honored.

There should be a small release today actually, but it will likely only be tweaks and bug-fixes with a few alternate recipes thrown in. I've had a busy RL week, so it unfortunately slowed down work on the mod just a tad over a few days.
As for working with others, nah man, that really wouldn't help. Keep in mind that I've worked a very long time as a professional game developer, so my work-standards are rather non-typical for a modder. As a result, I don't think it would be a pleasant experience for anyone involved to work with me. Remember, I do this for fun, and managing code-integration, dealing with other people's bugs, etc. is not exactly fun.
For anyone who uses the 32x32 items and textures I made for this but doesn't follow the Faithful 32x32 topic I thought you'd like to know I've updated the pack to support everything in BTW v2.81.
I'm not 100% happy with the glue or the tallow. I couldn't figure out what you were going for and so tried looking up tallow on google images but couldn't find anything to base it off.
Glad as always to see this mod expand.
Thanks as always for your support of the mod man.
I just wanted to mention that I will likely be switching texture systems for the next release, based on the concepts in this post:
With the number of terrain textures this mod uses, and with a lot of people using the Aether these days, I don't feel I have much of a choice to switch to such a system. It will also make compatibility with other texture-heavy mods (like Industrial Craft) much less of an issue.
Unfortunately, it also means that existing texture packs will no longer work with the mod once I release the next version as I'll be moving all my textures into my own terrain.png.
My apologies in advance for the hassle associated with this, but unfortunately I believe it's the correct decision for the future of the mod.

Backwards compatibility is highly overrated. If there are genuine advantages to progress, then by all means, progress!
People need to understand that MC is beta, and BTW is a WIP.
Allowing for more sprites and textures might be a headache at first, but everyone should see the long-term benefits. Kudos to you for moving in this direction, kudos to scokeev9 for the guide to doing it, and kudos to whoever tried to bring it to your attention.
There's a "test" button in mcpatcher than would answer that last question for you.
Also I support the name

But one quick question: Can you disable parts from the mod? (I don't like the companion cube for instance.)
So don't MAKE one. Why do you need your hand held through this?

Nice! I like having some alternatives in my recipes.
