Oh noes, FC has 3 folders in his download, one of which is clearly labled Minecraft server jar, which is needed for you know, server OPs, and Forge source folder, which he has to include because he's using some of forges code, how are people ever going to figure out how to install his superhardtoinstall modz?!?!11! Oh wait, thats right. There's a thing called a readme, which tells you what to do.
And BTW has issues with magic launcher for most people. This isn't up for argument. It simply doesn't work nice with the mod. And as for MCpatcher, it does work, but you have to uncheck all the options but HD fonts and textures, or it might break with BTW. again, your advice, to put it bluntly, its dung. And not even useful wolf dung.

You're completely wrong. It doesn't have issues with any of MCPatcher's features. It asks what internal zip folders you want to use from BTW, and you just select the minecraft-jar folder. Throw in modloader on top and it works fine, zero issues. You don't know what you're talking about.

I've played and installed BTW with and without mcpatcher for over a year, buddy. I think i have some clue of what i'm talking about.
In some versions of MCpatcher, at least, certain features like random mobs would cause the game to bug out. I'm not sure about the latest version, but MCpatcher has had issues with some of the optional patches in the past.
And you will note that i said BTW has issues with magic launcher for most people, not MCpatcher. MCpatcher is fine, but it can also cause installation issues sometimes if people do the order wrong or as you pointed out, choose the wrong subfolder, and in past versions at least, used some of the optional features.
You're quite clearly the one with no idea. For one, McPatcher's connected textures can and does cause it to crash.
Which textures cause a conflict? I don't know when you experienced this but it's not an occurence right now. I've been using MCPatcher over Magic Launcher because Optifine is not compatible with BTW, so MCPatcher is the only way to get proper HD textures (using SphaxDB's excellent textures since they have a BTW add-on for it).

The fix for magic launcher is simple and the .zip file could be modified in a quick fashion to make it compatible by default with Magic Launcher.... simply empty the contents of minecraft-jar folder into the root directory of the .zip file. The server-jar and forge directories won't affect the installation even if they're pulled into minecraft.jar.
-Fixed problem with SMP servers crashing if started without a world loaded.
-Fixed soft-crash bug when killing a mob with your fist.
-Fixed bug with mod-block GUIs not opening in SMP.
Hopefully, that will be the last emergency fix. I'd prefer not to set any further records
With regards to our rude friend, please just report and move on. He's been causing excessive hassles in this thread for quite awhile now, and I see no reason to get drawn into another flame war with him.

if you forget to install modloader again youre gunna have a bad time
Carrots seem to be pretty cheap as a food-source, they grow pretty fast fill 2 hunger-bars and are easy to get. Cooked potatos are similar to this (at least you have to cook them, but then they restore 3 bars).
Not yet. For the time being I just eliminated them as a zombie drop so you at least have to go through the trouble of finding a village to acquire them.
I'll think about it some, but for now I just consider it another food source in a game already over saturated with them. I may do something about that eventually, as a general overhaul to food/hunger, but it's not a priority at present.
Hum,doesn't seem to be working for me :/. Do I start MC and then use mcpatcher after im done putting 4.31 and modloader into my jar? Or do i put the stuff in my jar,use mc patcher and THEN start MC? Sorry all this stuff if sorta new to me, and ive been checking the forum everyday waiting for it to update . Any help is appreciated
Sry,hope that doesn't count as spam,i was just reposting that just incase some peeps didn't notice it since i am still having problems which i cant seem to solve :/.
Just wondering, how come i cant craft the vanilla anvil that combines tools together?
You can, but the recipe is changed from vanilla. (7 iron ingots in an I shape, same as how you craft a soulforged steel anvil). However, it's been nerfed so it has no ability to combine items/rename them. It's just a glorified sand block now, though one that hits like a truck if it falls from a big enough height.
The clanging noises it makes when it falls does make me think it would make a lovely sound effect if you used pistons to push a bunch of them up and down though, if you wanted a steampunk feel to a factory. Makes me think of some giant press pounding ingots into different shapes or something in a metalworks, lol.

Well i think that is stupid. I think you should be able to AT LEAST rename your tools, the 1 thing i was looking forwed to about 1.4.2 was able to combine tools! I really hope he gets rid of this in the next update! ALSO you should be able to re-smelt the vanilla avail I.E Dead Weight in the cubicle.
EDIT I discovered a but that I think may be because of BTW! I cant seam to use a map and when I try to craft it into a bigger map my MC Crashes! FC if your reading this can you FIX IT!
Yes, FC, please fix it so that when SlimeKing tries to craft a bigger map it corrupts his computer, rendering it impossible for him to post his whiny demands ever again.

Delete minecraft.jar to start fresh and read the readme.txt

Its for servers only. You don't install modloader for servers.
No, 4.31c is for clients too (b was just for servers).
The soft-crash on punching mobs to death was happening in SSP as well.
