Ok, i figured it out. Its not compatible with mo creatures, sadly. Anyone know a way i can fix this?
Edit: Nvm, its compatible. I stupidly forgot that for mo creatures to work you also need to install gui api and modloadermp and what not, thats why it was crashing since it was a fresh install.

- Fast texture pack switching - without leaving the current world
- Better Smooth Input - does not add a delay, works by changing thread priorities
- Fix for the BuildCraft oil texture and any other mods which use custom dynamic textures. This is only for 16x texture packs. 32x and higher still don't work as BuildCraft tries to use the MCPatcher classes directly.

WOW, turning off Depth Fog and Void Particles boosted my FPS by tons.
So i just installed this with all my mods already knowing the outcome (yes i just did it for $h!t$ n giggles)

So buildcraft oil isnt working in the new version. I am using a custom oil or i was cause now it looks like water unless im in the default textures. My pack doesn't have a custom water animation. it worked in the last version fine it just doesnt now... I am using BuildCraft RedPower pre2 Equivalent Exchange Somnia and Optifine and the prereqs for those mods.
Whats the minimum java requirement for this? I had optifine 1.7 and it worked fine, but when i updated to 1.8 the error log gave me a class.loader error or something similar which made me wonder. Running java 1.5.0_19, mac osx 10.4.11. could someone pm me a solution if they have one? thx
Follow the installation steps. Make sure you have Minecraft Version 1.8.1 not pre release.
make sure you delete the META-INF file

Im not using pre release, I deleted meta inf. It just crashes minecraft when i start it. The _A version worked fine.

Yeah, none of my HD texture packs are working.

C is giving me a major FPS boost over B though.
Friendship is very magical
