Since I have not found a solution to the white spiders and endermen I have to uninstall this mod for now. I'll be back to check if any solution is found, because it's a great mod.
And their eyes flicker because the big N positioned them EXACTLY over the normal ones which causes tear flickering. And that's already for many versions like that now...
Going by your CPU any non MT version, is it even worse for you when you turn off and down everything? I mean really every setting that OF offers. It's hard to imagine that even that will make it still worse for you than the old OptiMine.
That can also introduce problems because MC uses and hurr derp ancient version, 2.4.x
Because 1.8 f.e. broken F11 while I had the nightly of 2.8.0
Some one should tell Notch to update that part already...
I wonder how you even managed to not break your system with that... Unless batchfiles reset system vars on their own after exiting.
If anyone if having trouble with OpenGL 1.3(which some system didn't support) use this. I think it will fix though cus i haven't test it. All credit goes to Amaranth
Not sure if you can run Java on OSX. You have to check with Apple to see if they have Java 1.7. Also, the batch file can be run with either 1.6 or 1.7, but works best with 1.7.

I don't know if this has been reported and it only happened to me twice, but I got some weird door graphic problems last night. When I used a pressure plate and button, only half of the door would open but I could still walk through as if the door was fully opened.

When I was trying to use a 64x texture pack with 1.8.1 patched with MCPatcher, it was crashing constantly with Out Of Memory errors.
I've switched to the latest OptiFine and the Out Of Memory problem has completely gone away. That in addition to a much better and smoother framerate. So it's a big success for me. Thanks.
I'm seeing the white spider issue (might that be fixed if I switched to a lower res spider texture?)
I'm also getting the flickering around the edges of non-block objects like flowers and ladders and minecart tracks. (On preview, it looks like this is the same issue others are reporting having to do with transparancy.)
Again, thanks for your work on this. I hope Notch can do this well when he stops adding features and focuses on optimization.
Actually, you can remove the qo.class. You will just miss out on better grass.

Due to the new forum layout I am forced to leave a Link to my about me page so you can my mods/texture packs I support along with my Dragons, Just click on the image
Use my method to create a working shortcut:
- Go to the folder where you installed the Minecraft launcher ('minecraft.exe')
- Create a new text file and rename it to 'minecraft.bat'
- Open the file in Notepad (or another text editor) and insert the following line (without the arrow of course^^):
----> java -Xmx384M -cp Minecraft.exe net.minecraft.LauncherFrame
- Replace the number in 'Xmx384M' with one of the numbers H4TD listed (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/249637-181-optifine-hd-a-fps-boost-hd-textures/page__view__findpost__p__8688723)
- Save the file
the whole idea of using a bat that directly pointed to the jar was to not use the exe because the exe has memory leaks and causes out of memory errors >.> i cant run it on 1gig because my whole computer laggs, it literally uses all of my ram (3gig of it!)

UPDATE OPTIMINE, ITS ALL THAT STOPS MY MINECRAFT FROM CRASHING

I have a Mac 10.5.8, Power PC (Not Intel), and 4 Gigs of ram. Now its not even close to the best computer in the world, in fact a lot of times I'll get about 10 FPS. Optifine and LSOD do not work on my computer because of the Java version. However Optimine seems to work just perfectly! But if its not going to be updated, may we have the source? I know that I would love to update it for all those slow computers (like mine).
Keep up the good work.
Okay, and thanks!

You have to wait for a patch to merge both of them.

If that's so, then can Better Grass be reactivated in MC Patcher without any problems?
EDIT: Just checked it and you can do that.

Mostly just curious, as I absolutely loved the multithreaded version (**** yeah Dual Cores), and would enjoy having my separated chunk loading.
He's making it, so it's going to be a bit longer for that.
