Can you make an optifine Light for 1.8+? standard or ultra just drops my FPS worse but light on 1.7 runs way smoother for me and i think it would work good for 1.8+ too

If you tweak your settings, you can get it so it's like the lite version. Just keep turning off things until you get a stable FPS.
I try to run Optifine 1.8.1 HD Ultra B4, but it does nothing. No installer, nothing. What do I need to do to get it to install for 1.8.1?

Using Optifine 1.7.10 HD_U_B4 I'm receiving constant tessellation errors that crash my game upon world load when used with Botania. According to Vazkii, this should be fixed on your side. Can you talk to her and fix it?
I'm trying to install this on the ftb ressurection pack, but I can't because the installer isn't compatible with ftb. Is there any place I can get my hands on the .jar that I can just drop into my mods folder like the rest of the mods in the modpack?

With OptiFine 1.8 Ultra B2 and above, my cursor keeps on spazzing out (as if 100% sensitivity changed to hyperspeed!!!! sensitivity). Lowered my sensitivity, still occurs. Clicked random buttons in the performance options (like Smooth World), nothing. Tried it without the 5zig mod (which i had with OptiFine), still occurs. Crashing doesn't happen. It would be great if this could be fixed, since this mod is just the best one I can think of. It happens on both servers and singleplayer worlds. Reinstalling doesn't change anything.
Also, the "Lazy Chunk Loading" option doesn't show if it's on or off. Visual glitch.
Anyway, thanks for making this mod. Used it since I ever found Minecraft.

Now I feel stupid. I thought that jar was only a installer, but it turns out it can be used as the mod itself aswell.

You have OptiFine installed two times, not going to work.in my folder there is only optifine_hd_u_b4
