I have a problem where i have random floating pixel mid air on my sword and some other textures, and I'm only using optifine (no other mods), running vanilla. Does anyone know the fix to this? I have the graphics settings in nvdia set to your recomended ones.
Are you using a texture pack? sometimes texturepacks can have random unintentional pixels that may not be obvious in an image editor, but is in game. i would open up the texture pack files and erase where you saw the floating pixels, that should fix it.

I don't think they will give permission to add it to any kind of public or private modpack, otherwise it would be included in FTB already and since its not there, its clear...

Hey sp614x! How can I change my Optfine Cape, I want to change the color, but it still appears as the Green on in game.
Also, the Leather armor Icons are White instead of Brown.
I'm having a bit of a problem with clear water - I can't disable it. Water stays opaque on vanilla Minecraft, but once I install Optifine it becomes clear. Toggling the Clear Water setting doesn't do much except make the underwater brightness changes less erratic, plus it causes grass to spread to underwater, which I definitely don't want.
Plus, Advanced OpenGL has a strange effect on underwater entities when it is enabled. Top: Fast/Fancy, bottom: OFF.
I'm also getting white lines on dropped items and items held in my hand. It seems to generalise to the splash text on the title screen.
This is on HD_U_B6. I varied the settings for AA, AF and mipmapping, but none of them seemed to make any difference. Could I have some advice on how to fix this?
It doesn't work with the latest forge version! It stops at the building terrain screen when loading a world!
I can't post the forge error.log, post_too_large error and it exceeds pastebin's 500kb limit.

With the newest optifine I get lines all over the place with 32x faithful. I assume this happens with all HD texturepacks. It looks like it is overlapping an reading some of the next texture? I can't post pics cause I'm on my mac. (doesn't have minecraft)

Advanced OpenGL causes flickering chunks when it's enabled.

I have noticed with Optifine in FTB Mindcrack v8.0.1 it does not allow magic maps to be displayed in Twlight forest.
I have disabled everything except bare FTB Mindcrack; no textures or addons, and the maps render. I've added my texture back it it works. I've added Optifine and the map does not render anymore, furthermore, disabling everytime works. Is there a setting in the config or options that changes the way this works?
are you by chance using mcpatcher as well (they aren't compatible)? and if thats not the problem then try using the new Optifine HD U C2 with Forge version 516

Can you please give directions on how to get optifine on feed the beast mindcrack v8.0.1 because I think Keralis uses this modpack and I would like my world to look somewhat like his so I need a texturepack but I can't do this. So once again please put up directions on how to get optifine for mindcrack v8.0.1
