I've tried A6-7 and all B version so far, with default and faithful texture pack. I keep getting textures going wrong, when it happens I have to completely exit mc and restart it. Happens with random things and mobs.
I tried using this and it did not work. I even force updated minecraft. I got a blackscreen and I did delete META-INF. No errors or anything, what should I Do?nevermind, It was the portal mod causing troubles from the mods folder. I'm good.

Let’s play good guys against bad guys… Yes. Let’s play that. Are you ready? You’re the bad guy. And when you’re bad, you just run. That’s fine right? Well… Shall we play?
I am having problems when updating LWJGL with this mod. When i have this mod installed with updated LWJGL, won't run. Without optifine, minecraft runs just fine. Does anyone know what is going on?

I'm still having problems with this, and i'd also like to point out that this was put on a clean minecraft jar using the manual method.
Anything? nevermind, it was my graphics card being stupid.
But now when I'm using multi-core chunk loading, i'm getting chunks randomly unloading themselves from anywhere to a few frames to a good ten seconds. It happens quite often and really takes away from the game as it often reveals everything under the ground clearly to me, which I don't really like.

Your supposed to disable something in the nvidia control panel

How is it possible that when I change a texture in 1.4.2 and then add Optifine it reverts back to the original texture? It doesn't seem to matter which Optifine I use it will still do this.
I do not know what the cause of this bug is, but I have determined Optifine to be the source. Anyway, here's a screenshot:
If you want me to re-upload a daytime screenshot just let me know. EDIT: it also causes the clouds to become flat (as if using the "Fast" setting) when I run using all "fancy" settings (except for fog because for some reason, it will only let me use "fast" on the fog settings, my graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 6870). It happens on Optifine Ultra A7, so I though that updating to Optifine Ultra C1 (for 1.4.3) would fix the problem, but it didn't.
Would it be possible to add a setting to save multiple video settings? Say you need to lower your settings for a redstone heavy map, you could save a "redstone" video setting configuration that you could activate when you need, that would set all your settings to the saved configuration and then you could easily go back to your normal settings with your main video settings configuration?
I got this crash report from optifine C1 for 1.4.3: (everything below is the crash report)

Correction on my description: the chunks and the GUI flicker constantly while optifine is installed and LWJGL is updated.
No need, just use Ultra.
