Tested a possible workaround method for custom colors not functioning by using MC Patcher to "force" custom colors by patching the minecraft.jar. Only custom colors was patched in; everything else remained the same. Used Magic Launcher to launch a Test, with only a few mods loaded (specifically, just the one mod that uses a large variety of custom biome colors and its dependencies.) Error report is:

I've already asked the ExtraBiomesXL guys if it's an issue with their mod and they've said it's an issue with OptiFine. I can agree with this because custom biome colors are appearing and operating properly if I disable OptiFine.
thanks optifine, i can now hit 1,349 FPS because now minecraft thinks i have more than one core, youre awesome.
may i just ask how you got up to 1,349 FPS. cause i used to be able to get about 250 and now since 1.2.4 came out im only getting 80 FPS (as the max FPS). i put all the options onto their fastest settings. and my graphics card for my laptop is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5850 (AMD).

(i didn't seen this floating thingy since i made this screenshot)
It also affects mobs, and chests.
But i use Optifine MT, not Smooth. My older post, with specs, and another screenshots.
When I try to download this (using MCpatcher), i get a black screen, then a white screen. Is this because of the meta-INF? If it is, i'm kinda screwed because I can't go into the folder and delete it manually...
Can anyone help me? Sorry if I sound noobish, i'm tired.
For starters, this shows you as using a version of Extra Biomes meant for Minecraft 1.2.3 instead of the Version 1.2.4 you are still using at the moment (1.2.5 is out you know).
Also, there is a problem with the "Early Access Release Update 4" of Java 7 (Java 1.7). Uninstall it and go back to Update 3 instead. Also, install the latest Java 6 (Java 1.6) while you are at it if you don't have it installed.

Thank! I was on Java 7 update 4 and was getting nothing but problems. I even noticed by FPS went up about 30 from just rolling back.

Posted my results in an earlier post. Now with MT A2 I'm getting lag spikes every couple of minutes. Recently had a crash as well. Almost as if it can't handle the workload. I had to increase memory to 1024 since I have large breeding farms (over 375 sheep, 100+chickens, 30+ pigs, cows and mooshrooms). Seems since A2 I needed to increase memory and I can't go near my ranch of animals or I get huge spikes. Another poster stated he was also having lag spikes in the same manner. That is all, I'll await a fix before furthering my farm and ranch.
When using the patcher to install mods, just uncheck all the patcher mods. Except maybe custom colors, depending on if you use that or not, it appears that mc patcher does a better job. Sorta like this:
Only uncheck random mobs (optifine does that now too) and make a choice on custom colors. I think you can go either way, but if not, just uncheck it and deal with what optifine does. I install mods this way all the time, takes the hassle out of it, and you don't have to worry about forgetting to delete META-INF, it's done for you.

I did install modloader first and then Optifine but still got the same screen D:

Now I Can To Run The Game In Far Without Any Lag
And no that is not a typo. Why isn't it working for me?

I have absolutely NO idea what it is saying
I think that it's asking for ModloaderMP or at least that is where the problem is.
