Tested with default textures and Misa's Texture Pack (which works great with LB) and the glass has the default rendering (no HD). ...
LB Photo Realism is also a "Texture Pack" and NOT a "Mod." So, don't know what you're talking about getting two texture packs to work with each other at the same time.
But, just like someone else already pointed out, if a texture pack doesn't support connected textures (with an additional ctm.png file), it will use the default textures instead when trying to use those connected textures. Of course, OptiFine does allow you to choose whether connected textures support is enabled or not.
This mod looks really cool, but when i run the multi-core version everything will flash or sometimes even disappear. I tried forcing vertical sync on and turning threaded optimization off, but everything is still flashing. Am I missing something? Any help would be very appreciated
Hey, just a small recommendation for the mod, could you make a way to disable biome colors entirely? I have found this saves a whole buttload of fps You don't have to implement this if it will be too complicated or if you would rather just leave it out. I have installed a world generation port mod that makes it so that you can generate maps that are like 1.7.3 and earlier, even Alpha 1.1.2_01 or something? Something before the Halloween Update which made biome colors and stuff. It probably is that biomes don't have to be rendered, or it is also that the grass and trees don't have dynamic colors. Probably both, but I bet a simple color for all trees and grass option could save a whole crapload of fps. For example, I have a decent GPU, a radeon HD 6950, and a quad-core i5 sandybridge 2500k at 3.3 ghz, and Minecraft runs about 130 fps and higher, with lag spikes down to like 80-90 at times in complex areas. (which is why I use your mod, the lag spikes are annoying. VERY ANNOYING!) But with an early Alpha map, I always get about 240+. (Maps are a whole ton less complex though) any way, just a long idea and explanation for why I think you should implement this feature to your already awesome mod.
Hey, i think you should update a merge with forge. I install the Multicore Version after it and randomly heads and signs dissapear (the text is still there).
So i just installed the Smooth optifine and my Client keeps running out of memory and my Texture Pack keeps glitching. is this a known bug or is it fixable?????? please let me know !
When i tried to use a 256 texture pack with the smooth version it didn't patch it. The whole thing looked horrible. When i tried a 64x version, everything except the items, paintings and some of the mobs worked fine. I also have shaders installed.

I always like to recommend the COMPLETELY FREE and FULL-FEATURED (No Advertisements or anything) "Greenfish Icon Editor Pro" (GFIE Pro).
Also, right here on these forums, there's a Minecraft Texture Pack Editor (MTE).
Hmm weird, It doesn't seem to work for me :\
Which is why you install OptiFine after you install ModLoader as per the instructions in the Release Post.
I second that! Anti-aliasing and Anistropic Filtering should just be added to the others already.
