Sparcs Tweaks (rev 12) for Minecraft 1.5.2 by SparcMan (updated 6/12/13)
Are you tired of boring dungeons with even more boring loot?
Do you want more variety in mineshaft and stronghold loot?
Do you wish sometimes you'd get something useful from digging through mounds and mounds of dirt?
Do you wish a chance to recover some of that glass you placed?
Do you want to be able to put torches on the back of stairs?
If the answer to any of these questions was "yes" then SparcsTweaks is the Mod for you.
This is a minimalist mod that only tweaks a few key features of the game to make it a bit more rewarding and exciting.
Rev 11 version for 1.5.1 is here.
Rev 10 version for 1.4.6/1.4.7 is here.
Rev 9 version for 1.4.4/1.4.5 is here.
Rev 8 version for 1.4.2 is here.
Rev 7 version for 1.3.2 is here.
Rev 6 version for 1.3.1 is here.
Rev 5 version for 1.2.5 is here.
Rev 4 version for 1.2.3 is here.
Rev 3 version for 1.1 is here.
Rev 2a version for 1.0.0 is here.
Rev 2 version for 1.0.0 is here.
Rev 1 version for 1.0.0 is here.
I created this version because I want to use my mod along with other mods that use the Forge API.
You MUST install Forge before installing SparcsTweaks if you want it to work right. If you're using an automated modding tool like Magic Launcher, Sparcs Tweaks must be somewhere underneath Forge in the load order.
(if I goofed on a version number, use the build number - the last number - as that is what I was usually looking at)
The Forge API patch does not depend on SparcsTweaks

FAQ:
- Q: I found a dungeon but it just had the normal old loot.
- A: If you're playing on a map you started before installing the mod, any dungeons already generated will not be updated - travel to a new area for new loot or start a new map. Also, you may just be unlucky and the dungeon generated just happened to contain only original loot items.
- Q: Can I use this mod with others?
- A: If you load this mod before any other mods, it should remove any compatility issues but conflicting features of this mod will be missing.
- Q: Will this mod work with ModLoader?
- A: I tested it with ModLoader and there are no direct conflicts. It may still conflict with specific mods.
- Q: The game crashes when I try to cook something in a furnace and I can't load that world anymore
- A: You're probably using the standalone version of the mod with Forge installed. Use the Forge version instead.
- Q: I installed this mod and Minecraft just blackscreened right away.
- A: Either another mod is conflicting or you didn't remove the files MANIFEST.MF, MOJANG_C.DSA and MOJANG_C.SF which are in the META-INF folder of the minecraft.jar

You probably didn't remove the MANIFEST.MF, MOJANG_C.DSA and MOJANG_C.SF files (in the META-INF folder) from minecraft.jar - You will blackscreen if they're present. This mod works fine on every computer I've tried it on.

- Q: Can I use this mod with others?
- A: Probably not. This mod is intended to be a standalone mod and is likely to conflict with others unless none of the class files are the same.
- Q: Can I get a version of the mod without {insert feature here}?
- A: I'm not planning to release this mod with a custom selection of features.
Wow, bummer. Hope you change your mind at some point.
You do understand all of the tweaks are standalone, I believe.
So you dont have to use them all, which Is why I asked before "Which Class is for each mod."
Because Having the Dirt drop bone tweak, the dungeon tweak, and a few others, would be nice as the rest of them are not needed.
You probably didn't remove the MANIFEST.MF, MOJANG_C.DSA and MOJANG_C.SF files (in the META-INF folder) from minecraft.jar - You will blackscreen if they're present. This mod works fine on every computer I've tried it on.
That's not it. I always delete the META folder. ALWAYS.

Yeah I guess it's because it's not ML compatible yet. I'll probably work on that next.

Awesum! unfortunately im already on 1.5 :SSSS:. Could you make mob spawners drop on destruction? I don't think it would be possible to keep it spawn the same monster as before, but making a pig grinder is nice too :tongue.gif:

who cares? i'd take both there babies and throw them down a cliff if it means this mod will happen faster
Also I tried it with ModLoader (no other mods loaded) and there is no conflict.
As for dungeon spawners creating a drop on destroy, I think there are other mods to do that, but I'll consider adding it to the next version.
*** Edit: I tried this mod with ModLoader, Dynamic Lights, Too Many Items and Piston mod with no conflicts. ***

There is a conflict with more recent versions of forge, I recommend removing the sapling tweak (uf.class) to resolve it. (if you see trees where the leaves overwrite where wood blocks should be, that's what's causing it)
Be sure you use the version which matches the forge version you're using.
You must use one of these patches with the R5 and R7 Forge versions of Sparcs Tweaks!

gonna test with spc now
You probably didn't remove the MANIFEST.MF, MOJANG_C.DSA and MOJANG_C.SF files (in the META-INF folder) from minecraft.jar - You will blackscreen if they're present. This mod works fine on every computer I've tried it on.

Wow, bummer. Hope you change your mind at some point.
So you dont have to use them all, which Is why I asked before "Which Class is for each mod."
Because Having the Dirt drop bone tweak, the dungeon tweak, and a few others, would be nice as the rest of them are not needed.
That's not it. I always delete the META folder. ALWAYS.

Yeah I guess it's because it's not ML compatible yet. I'll probably work on that next.
