The more people that say this, the more likely that Mr. Hippoplatimus will get a bit frustrated at the impatience of the people using the mod. The more frustrated he gets, the more likely he will decide not to updated it at all. So just do what I do. Silently wait. And tell other people to be patient. Do other things on my no-mods worlds right now. Play multiplayer for once in a lifetime.
This, this, and more of this. Just wait it out people. Your nagging isn't going to help at all. Just let the man work.
So this might be a stupid question but how can I go back to 1.5? It updated automatically so is there anyway to stop it? and is there anywhere I can download a minecraft.jar thats 1.5 for osx? I don't care if this takes forever to update if I could just go back

I have an idea. What did you say about a detector piston? When you standing on this and it has a upwards direction, you will be gonna shot in the sky. You can turn on this effect by powering with redstone.
Like the Jump Pad from Pfaeff's Mod, but higher and you can turn on/off the jump effect!?
I was just saying you dont have to flip a **** he'll probably update it at the same speed as when i didn't post that im not sure my one post will affect him that much as for multiplayer im gonna put it on a server and its not working right now because i cant figure out how to install the planes mod for 1.6.5
With the new mushrooms spreading, it should be possible to make a fully automatic (minus the loading into chests, unless you're using allocators too) mushroom farm with pistons (as soon as the pistons are updated, of course).
Where :stair:=piston facing this way ^, same
And :RedShroom:=mushroom (either kind) on a block such as stone
And :stone:=a block at the same level as the blocks the mushrooms are on
And :Blue:=flowing water
:Water::Blue::Blue::Blue::Blue::Blue::Blue:
:stone::RedShroom::White::RedShroom::stone::RedShroom::stone: etc.
:stair::::stair::::stair::::stair:
The pistons would push the mushrooms (after they grew) into the water. I'm not sure how frequent they should activate.
While each piston-mushroom pair would only provide a "free" mushroom once in a while, put hundreds or even thousands together and you'll get a steady supply of mushrooms.
I think he's not just updating, he's adding. He messaged me a while ago that he was planning to add pistons that could extend farther then 1 block. That was possibly to make up for fixing the double-piston glitch. Just wait. His 1.6.5 update will come soon enough. And lets hope Notch's 1.6.6 will fix the "Saving chunks" error. And the modders have been working extremely hard for no pay. They've been fixing their mods (Because Notch can't release 1.6.5 in one update, due to him feeling like posting 6 Mod breaking updates.)

This is possible. Well the automatic part is. I've been doing redstone studies, and an unstable repeater loop would work.

I'm sure 1.6.1, 1.6.2, 1.6.3, 1.6.4, and 1.6.5 broke very few, if any, mods. 1.6 broke the mods and the others came so soon after that only a few people had time to get a mod update out. 1.6.6 will break plenty of mods, but not everyone has updated their mods yet.
I made a 12x12 tunnel to the bedrock in the middle of the ocean, I made a giant checkerboard island, and I made a pig deep fryer. I am running out of ideas of things to do while waiting.

I found a simplier way. 16x16 horisontal squere of dirt. Every second row of dirt can be pushed back and forth (1 piston on each side). Other dirt blocks have mushrooms on them. It'll work because items can fall through moving blocks.
Same profit as yours, but mine is faster and uses less pistons.

I didn't think about the items falling through moving blocks, but that would work better.
It's not pistons bug. Same thing happens with glass, stairs, slabs, leaves, and all other non-opaque blocks.
I never said it was a bug. I just said it is something I would like. Basically, it would be nice if the piston extension registers as opaque for this purpose.

Also, I'd suggest looking into the new launcher, as well as creating back-ups every stable update of Vanilla jars.
Minecraft will never be the same.
Wow, seriously awesome tool thanks a bunch man, now I can post that updated door thingy i've been wanting to :laugh.gif:
I has a crafting idea for this:
= pressure plate
= redstone dust
What do you think about?
He is adding new features and testing it please be patient.

P.S. Unofficial update is coming soon :smile.gif:
That is very sad. I do want to see pistons soon. **** this mobile version and Scrolls.
However if this "adventure Mode" is half as nice as Adventure Craft then I'll be happy. Plus this 1.6.6 update is needed big time. So many bugs.
As for Pistons, I just hope the changes are still faithful to the original mod. Hippo You are the MAN! Pistons is teh winrar of minecraft!
One free internez for you Good sir!

You obviously didn't read that Pistons are currently for Beta 1.5_01. However, Hippo will update the mod soon for 1.6.5
Nothing a little dynamite could not fix
