it's so hard to know if mods have their own site.. but when I looked at the first post here It redirected me.. so again I'll trust here more often hehe So far I've noticed every mod I have that works properly has a thread here..
Question: How do I get it so I can understand my villagers? They are all speaking another language and all the signs are in a foreign language also..

Yup, when you start out you don't know the language of the villagers. Stay around them a while and trade with and eventually you will learn their language. There is an option to turn off language learning in the config but I don't remember what it is off the top of my head.
eh it's ok if I can learn it over time it's more realistic.. but I'm having a diff problem.. i'm trying to see what they have to trade and when I go into the main building i see "I'll be there in a min.." and then get a villager that says "Selling to Player" But I see no window or anything, I keep trying to right click them and I get nothing.. When I go outside again I get "I hope you liked trading with us.." O_o I'm like trading what ?! lol So I tried it again.. nothing still.. I have got to be missing a step or something...

Relog, for some reason the villager is not loading for you, by relogging they will load.

O_o I was right clicking and placing torches on the ground behind her.. I saw her ok.. She apparently wasn't where I was seeing her.. When I loaded game she works now ! AWESOME Mod.. umm do any of these villagers grow old and die? If not how does it keep population control? Or will the world become a giant metropolis in short order? lmao

Woah what?! This is the first I've heard of being misplaced... usually people say they don't visually load up at all?!
Once all buildings are full children stop being born. There is a set amount of buildings per village type.

Yeah I could see her just fine lol Just nothing happened when I right clicked her.. last time I tried I was holding torches and had to keep picking them back up behind her.. cause each time I right clicked it placed a torch behind her.. lol So she had to have been somewhere I didn't see her lol But they are all fixed now And I'm OFF to the Market! YAY!!
Thanks guys for answering all those dumb questions

You could change REI easily in game. But if you want to change the keybind for millenaire just go to your 'mod' folder (in .minecraft) and open the folder 'millenaire'. In there you will see a text document called 'config' open that with notepad, notepad++, or wordpad.( I recommend notepad++)And it's listed in the UI settings.
...
I love this mod, I think its the only one I've seen that really brings minecraft alive and infinitely interesting.
I have to agree It gives you a goal while you work toward your diamonds and armor for the End.. It adds more then just Ore Grinding..
I would have to say.. with all the mods I've tried, This mod by far out passes them all in content..
I would like to suggest or request lol A Buy back option? I accidentally right clicked the darn 1a Village info sheet and got like 5 of em !! lmao and I couldn't give the 4 back to get my 4a back.. anyway to add that?
Sadly modified worlds are not known to be always compatible with Millenaire.
Millenaire works best with regular worlds.
Yes, I know. That's what I've gotten when I've tried to get help with my problem in the past. I have tried it in regular worlds as well, to no more success. I ask again: Has anyone here managed to make a Japanese Agricultural village build all its buildings? If so, how?
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
May the Force be with you. Unless you're a troll, in which case, may the farce be with you.
Hi all, random question but as anyone ever tried to use this mod with Mystcraft? I tried to give it a go but I am unable to talk to the villagers, I am assuming it has something to do with the way Mystcraft works. I've asked over in that forum but I thought I would double my efforts by perhaps asking if anyone has in fact done this could they perhaps pm me?

Millenaire has been blocked from being able to spawn anything in any dimension other than the regular one.

Does anyone know a way to add custom mod items to millenaire merchants?
It was given the possibility to be done, I just can't really figure it out... please let me know if you do though!
Try posting on the official Millenaire forums about it maybe?

If the problem persists in the regular worlds then try messaging Rasseru about it, he likes to handle anything to do with the Japanese since he made the culture.
Can you install Millenaire addon content if the version # of the content does not match the Millenaire version used? I am having weird issues with the "lone buildings" and "miscelaneous lone buildings" addon packs that I added to Millenaire 5.1.3, such as text changes to ui.action and ui.command, trading items of lone building NPCs not recognized, and blank white skins on the lone building NPCs.
Does anyone know a way to add custom mod items to millenaire merchants?
There are a few things you need to do to make this work.
1. Make sure Forge loads Millenaire after the mod you are trying to use items from.
2. In .minecraft/mods/millenaire/ there is a file called itemList.txt. You'll need to add any items you want Millenaire to use there.
3. In .minecraft/mods/millenaire/cultures/<culture name>/ you will find a file called traded_goods.txt. You'll need to add any items you want Millenaire to use here with the buy and sell price and there are some other optional things you can specify.
4. In .minecraft/mods/millenaire/cultures/<culture name>/shops/ you need to add the item you added in step 2 to whatever shop's buy or sell list you want.
That's it. If you're planning on making a custom culture the paths to the file sill be mostly the same but your starting place will change to .minecraft/mods/millenire-custom/mods/<mod name>

Some of the old stuff will work and some of it won't. Really depends on what the addon content contains. Also, update your version of Millenaire to the latest, many bugs have been fixed.

I need help please. My Minecraft keeps crashing whenever I try to load a world. Here's the report:
