It might be better for me... To goto your servers and see these errors. So I can give a better report. If I need too? I would also know if its current bug or a new one. Since some people don't report bugs to the bugs page on the Millenaire wiki.
Thinking that we would read the forums all the time.
If you can fix the bug or errors? Please go to Millenaire Wiki's Bugs Report page and post a note under the bug or error.
So we can find the errors in the code much faster and update the mod.
Ok, so I am loading this mod into a server... the Console box shows everything is fine....
However, the CMD box shows me a string of these errors pages long while starting up the first time...

Is this normal for the first run on a server? (I don't get them subsequently)
ALSO: I have language=en, yet they are speaking french to me everywhere? help?
While I sold timberframes to a japanese village who needed the blocks for upgrading buildings it suddenly stopped working for me. I could simply not sell those items that the village needed anymore. It must be mentioned that I was selling them huge quantities of timberframes. The game still running with no trouble. I could buy things from them. And sell the things that I bought, back to them. But collected items as oakwood blocks, leather and the rest of the timberframes couldn't be sold to them. Even thou they needed it.
Is there any solution to troubles like this? I tried a couple of restarts of the game with out it helped.
Had the same trouble with a hindi village in a another world that I tried to sell large stock of mud bricks to.
Help?
Villages actually have limited space. Particularly early on in their development. So if you're selling them masses of something they're not using eventually they won't have room for any more stuff and things go wonky. Try looking in the locked chests in the central building to see if this is the case for you.

I presume you're talking to Normans? The villagers of each culture appear to speak their native language until you know them well enough to 'learn' it. Then they speak the one you've chosen in Minecraft (if there's a translation).
Is the villagers being immune to fire a bug or a feature? My friend's little sister has been on a kill all the villagers binge so I setup a world just for her to be destructive but we were both quite disappointed when the villagers were chillin in the lava on fire without a care in the world haha. Is there a way to turn that off? Thanks and take care!

It's to stop them from committing suicide. They take no fall range either.
Just found this mod and dove in on the recommendation of someone else. I'm kind of liking it but at the same time I'm finding some frustrations. I restarted a couple times so I could find a village before nightfall, wound up abandoning the idea so I could instead just get a base camp set up - I was mostly unable to feed myself without my usual fields/farm arrangement going and wound up starving and put out of my misery by skeletons almost nightly.
I now have a fairly well-off Norman village but everyone seems to have a quest I can't do. One is "Thirsty" but it tells me I have to be "Favored Trader" to do it. Others have "Sick Child" but I need something I don't have.
I found a big step pyramid with a labyrinth inside it, and can't find any mention of it on the wiki. Currently I'm working through it but that's going slow because I keep having to stop to handle food concerns. Much nicer "impromptu exploration reward" than jungle temples though.
(Edit: It's called "Muul", and it was a certain kind of joy to work through the bottom floor with what seemed like a creeper every few steps.)
And zombified testificate villagers show up . . . what happens if I cure them?
My spawn point was near a Japanese village, across a river, but within the normal build radius. However, consulting the village's map, I built up a home in a non-green area and sunk a few weeks worth of gameplay into it.
Unlike an Indian village for instance, which requires a lot of intervention (especially of the qila type), with mud and cooked bricks, the Japanese village happily chugs along except for needing wool here and there. I was happy with this arrangement, until the village started building around my setup. I play with IC2, Buildcraft, Railcraft etc. and so I have a pretty complex logic-gate setup, oil refinery etc. (that is to say, not something I can replace easily).
The building only demolished a few minor things, but I'm worried the merciless wooden spade of the builder will end up demolishing my other stuff. I'd rather not destroy the village and mess up my reputation - is there a way I can stop them building in general - at least on my turf? Of course you lose rep for striking a villager, but what if I just blew up the offending building with TNT or a nuke? Would they just rebuild it on the same spot?

I don't know if this would help, but ... if you know that you can place signs with text formatted the way that Millenaire would export it as a custom building, wouldn't Millenaire also recognize this as a no-build zone? I haven't tried this myself, only because I tend to build my personal "home" and assorted structure far enough away from villages and lone buildings that it's not an issue.

right click on the buildings sign (often top right). It will show a map with the areas they will build in highlighted by a green box (basically the bounds of their village). Figure out where that ends and build outside and youll be good

Don't build on their land, they own that land and can do whatever they want. You can buy land off them and develop it anyway you want.
Dumb question, how do you get grass for the japanese towns? The one I'm working with is lacking that and I've been looking it up online with no results...

Which building requires grass? I play with the Japanese villages all the time and Rasseru above made the Japanese culture. I don't think any building has grass. Do you mean leaves? Name which building it is.

It says their project their working on is the fishing pond, but lacking resources, apparently there's a list of resources they have on the sign, they have everything else but grass..... I looked up fishing pond on the wiki and it didn't require grass..>.>
So it seems I am lacking something else. I also checked the shrine and their still working on it, perhaps I need grass for that?
I'll have to check it out some more...
Edit: so whats the whole point for grass anyways if it's not used for buildings? they seem to be requiring it..>.>
Thinking that we would read the forums all the time.
If you can fix the bug or errors? Please go to Millenaire Wiki's Bugs Report page and post a note under the bug or error.
So we can find the errors in the code much faster and update the mod.
However, the CMD box shows me a string of these errors pages long while starting up the first time...

ALSO: I have language=en, yet they are speaking french to me everywhere?
Be friendly. Feel the immersion.
http://SandboxGameMaker.com
It's to stop them from committing suicide. They take no fall range either.
I Solve practical problems
PM him.
I have a problem that I'm looking for help with:
Cheers!
Figure out where that ends and build outside and youll be good
He's a mad man with a box
Don't build on their land, they own that land and can do whatever they want. You can buy land off them and develop it anyway you want.
Grass for a building? Which one?
Which building requires grass? I play with the Japanese villages all the time and Rasseru above made the Japanese culture. I don't think any building has grass. Do you mean leaves? Name which building it is.
I think you don't need leaves any more.
