Hi, I just installed this mod and created a new world. Everything was fine and I was searching for a village. I found one and saw it generate but after that my game just continuously lags non-stop and everything is choppy even if I move far away from the village. Why does this happen?
My brother gets a similar thing on our 2-player server except his lag only starts when he rejoins a game after quitting MC.
I'm having a strange glitch here with Millenaire-- it happened both in 3.2.0 and 3.2.1
Basically, the map generates up to a point, then freezes. Trying to leave the game gives the 'shutting down internal server' screen, and it freezes for good. Millenaire works perfect in multiplayer though, making me wonder if this is just a problem with the map generation.
Yes me too, you should create a new wolrdmap and delete the old map . I believe that is the better thing. Your time spend in it is lost.
When I approach this point the mistake appears and the client closes. And I need create a new name to play at the old worldmap.
or no go to the error point
In my experience this very specific error happens because the lone building "The Pantheon" is trying to spawn. It's huge. If you force-quit and reload the map should be fine (unless The Pantheon tries to spawn again). If you have the time you can just let minecraft run for 10 minutes to an hour, depending on your computer, while it generates.
Or option 3 - disable The Pantheon.

are hostile villages supposed to respawn after you have cleared them out? I'm having some bugs on 1.4.2 here.
very close to my spawn on a new world, I found 2 village/faction right next to each other, one peaceful bourg and one hostile agricole. I started setting up camp near the bourg and trading, while the agricole was attacking me along the way and planning raids on the bourg. then at some point after killing the last one, I got a message '<hostile village> chests are now open', then went to the only building in their nearby camp to loot the chests and move in.
then after a while once I've settled in, the hostile residents begin respawning inside, and not only that but they seem to be basically invincible now. with vazkii's healthbar mod I can see their status flipping back and forth from attackable/hostile for a second, then back to neutral npcs that take no damage, and while they are hostile they attack and do damage to me, and switch back before I can kill any of them.
edit: after reloading the map they are once again killable, but when clearing them out I get no console message, so not sure if they will be back again.now I'm afraid to store items there since they may be deleted/built over while I'm away.
edit2: yep, they're back.
wat do now, is there any way to delete this faction or something? when I hit the key to search for nearby villages, their names no longer appear, and another agricole seems to have spawned in their place about 200m away to the north, not sure of their status since I have yet to go look for them.
edit3: seem to have figured out a fix for now - just delete them from existence in the lone buildings config of the save dir, hope this will prevent them from respawning... we will be able to properly defeat these guys later I hope?
also in the first village I met, I keep getting some quest to return a lost sword to the chief. when I hand in this item the quest completes, but I can't collect the experience points that are granted from it, the orbs just swirl around me constantly until I quit and reload. then each time I reload the map, I get the same quest again and again, and my status with this village seems to be improving each time I do it. so they seem to be stuck in some loop that yields free status ranks, though I don't get any experience from it.

That should stop it happening any more.
Left the game running as recommended, and holy freakin' crap that thing is huge.
Game went back to running normally after spawning the pantheon. These things should come with a warning.
PS: If there's some known glitch about having the Sadhu spawning when you didnt even start the Creation Quest or never met a Hindi yet, please don't fix it.
This MOD needs powerful CPU.
PhenomⅡ955BE + HD6870 is worse than i7 2760QM + HD7690XT for this MOD.
It shows that this MOD does not need GPU power, but needs CPU power.
The performance of HD7690XT is less than that of HD6670.
We can play this MOD with entryclass GPU.

It's not a glitch, it's a change I made on purpose. The chance of him spawning after you got the quest is much higher though.

Correct. Graphics are the same as the normal Minecraft ones, what Millénaire requires more of is CPU for pathing calculations.

Any dual core 3.0GHz CPU should run it fine. You don't need an i7. When was minecraft ever graphics intensive anyone could figure out that it doesn't need a good graphics card. you don't need to test it. I get 200 FPS with an AMD 5670 and an intel i5 3570.
well, i dont have white blocks. i have everyone cannot buy/sell to or from me. i spawned a japanese village a small ways from the norman one. the signs are all blank in that village. no ne could by my oak planks even tho i had a lot in my inventry.
i went to the norman village and while they have data on their signs, they also cannot by from me or sell to me.
the only things i have done was shut down the pantheon/parthanon building beasue it was constantly spawning on my game (as per the weight0 instead of weight 10 code line) and updated my java.
is it me, my forge (which runs perfectly fine befor the newest update, which i grabbed becasue of the spawn problem with the huge building) or my fiddling with the code?
*derpaherp
was trying to sell them planks
however, is the sign problem becasue i spawned the japanese village? by giving myself the gold block and wand. with TMI?
*after messing about. seems i cant recreate the village i had, or the error. so scratch that >.> at least the spawned villages seem to be fixed
I believe a large part of the problem is your Forge version - from my understanding Forge build 6.0.1.355 was the latest build that was compatible with Minecraft 1.4.2, I guess the ones since then must be for the pre release 1.4.3.
Problem 2 - lots of people have issues with TMI and Millenaire, try NEI instead. I haven't used either myself but I follow the many complaints on the forums here.
although i do NOT have used custom cultures, i looked into the standard folder , to see if there's a hint.
based on the hindi adivasipeasant :
The file which seems to tell millenaire where the textures are is located @ mods->millenaire->cultures->hindi->villagers ,
so i guess that there has to be a file like that in mods->millenaire-custom->cultures->[your cultures name] -> villagers.
the file for my example- adivasipeasant - says:
these are located in the millenaire3.2.1.zip file
millenaire3.2.1\graphics\mobs\indian
did you create/put a folder with textures for your culture in the zipfile?
I'd try that, if you don't. Make a backup to be safe.
If you did, check the textfile if there are similar directions like the one i posted above for every villager appearing in white.
Should that be there, then that means i can't help you.
well, i tryed.
I figured it out, none of the add-ons made the villagers have the word /graphics before the /mob, had a hard time copy/pasting /graphics before /mob for all the villagers... ADD THE WORD /GRAPHICS BEFORE /MOB GUYS!

Heh. Last two letters of hash, first two of iterator. That's one effective profanity filter.
