This is a post directed mostly at Kinneken; I have PM'ed him about it but as his signature says he gets a lot of them so I just wanted to make sure he'd get a chance to read it, what with this drama going on over his website.
I am currently making a mod-pack in which I hope to include Millenaire. I currently have permissions to use many good mods, such as Fossils and Archeology; Better Dungeons; ComputerCraft; MAtmos; PlasticCraft; and a bunch of smaller stuff. I'm currently waiting for responses from some of the better mods, such as IndustrialCraft, RedPower, and BuildCraft. I'm hoping to include Millenaire in it; and I am hoping to get permission to include it with my installer download.
Some other things I'd like to make a note of here:
I'd say definitely use Forge. There are very few things that disappoint me more when installing a mod than finding out it maxxes out ModLoader's sprite indices. Millenaire uses quite a few item sprites; and any other mod that adds a lot is incompatible solely because of this. In addition, there are a few other things about Forge that make it a good API, including many things Millenaire already does fine, like adding new armor. And if Millenaire ever includes new ores, you'd definitely want to use Forge.
Also, I have a question; is there any way to make some villages/buildings spawn in ALL biomes? I noticed in the configuration files that there are lines like "biome:forest". Is there any way to add something such as "biome:all"?
Hey i have millenaire 2.1.3 and earlyer i got a blue screen in mc when millenaire loaded a new village in alredy explored terrain. also later (in different world)i was checking my stats (m key) in the main building of my norman religus (spell fail) village. the monk seller was standing next to me, head spazing and i sudently got the evil saving chunks..
any reson for these crashes?
Is anyone else experiencing problems with the furnace?
Like, for example: I had 32 iron ores and put it into the furnace and waited a while. When I checked the furnace only one iron bar was waiting to be taken out. Not 32.

did you use a village furnace? (ie: cattle farms, quarries) they take out everything :angry.gif:
Hey this seems like a great mod and I would love to use it but when I start Minecraft I get an error screen and it shuts down so I can't fix it. I'm a semi expirienced at loading mods so if it is a block id I can fix it but since I can't see the error log I'm stuck. any help?
Oh also I DO have forge installed,would that be causing this?
have you tried to use a summoning wand? you can make buildings with those i think
i have another question :smile.gif:, i just found out that i could choose another language besides french but i already installed the mod. How can i change the language for millenair?
Is it documented anywhere what you can do with your own town after achieving leader status? I can't seem to find any information on how to operate the town etc.

Deleting millenaire2.x.x.zip in "%appdata%\.minecraft\mods" is all it really takes. You can then also delete the "millenaire" and "millenaire-custom" folders (in the .minecraft folder) if you wish. That's all there is.

So started a new world after the newest update. Spawned near a norman village. At this point nearly everything if build, i think im missing a chapel and a few upgrades.
For no reason the women that are supposed to come sell to the player in the village center will not come.
It show the dialogue that says they will be there in a minute but they dont show up.
I started watching the village scroll and the red dot that marks the woman that says shes coming is inside the building.
When I leave the building the red dot warps back to her house. I've checked and she is in there.
Sorry if this sounds confusing so let me try to explain it another way. The person despawns from the map when i enter the village center as far as I can tell, and the game thinks that the person came into the building. When I exit the building, the person respawns in the place where they where before I entered the town center.
I've tried reloading the game many times, and I've been several hundred meters away and then returned and the same thing keeps happening. It is preventing me from selling them any resources for them to grow.
Any ideas?

I dug out a piece of the floor of the mansion and found the problem, although I don't know how to fix it. The villagers dont "see" the floor of the town center. The always "warp" into the building's basement. This explains why the town map says that various villagers are standing next to me when I couldn't seem them.
Why do none of the villagers use the main floor of the town center, and is this fixable?
So Kinniken, any way for me to edit configs on my end in order to prevent grass from appearing in villages? Or am I SOL? I'm playing without Millenaire for now, and I've just started terraforming the land with Industrial Craft machines. It's not a huge deal to have the grass now as opposed to before, but I like to feel like I've earned it at least somewhat. Hmm, but it seems like an enderman snagged a grass block from somewhere and set it down in an area where I haven't terraformed yet... odd. :dry.gif: It'll merge with the grass I grew in a Minecraft week or two, anyway.
I am considering just disabling cultures/villages to see if I can keep ones around that don't have any grass...

which spams like every second :sad.gif: Is it going to crash my game? I hope an update doesn't invalidate my save. I just discovered the stronghold :sad.gif:
In your saved game's folder, there is a millenaire one. In that there is a buildings one. In it are files for every building in-game. Find the one for the abandoned mine and remove it, it should be called -183/70/-473 (the coordinates of the building as seen in your error log).

So if I become a leader of a culture, and I can build my own city... I noticed there's a limitation on the area for the city... Which severely limits what I want to do with my city... Is there any way to expand the area of the wand?
Yes, you can change it in the config file. Be warned though, higher city radius means more lag.
