There's a problem when your in the town hall or any spot where you can trade. When you are trading them or just standing aimlessly in there and teleport out somewhere else the whole village dies but the homes and you get a error.
The error in the code is what i got from flying in a plane above it or near it. The problem above i get the error of "Error in updateEntity(). Check milenaire.log." but cant find that error since i deleted it by accident when i decided i didn't want it but i changed my mind to i can help you fix bugs.

It does not bug i think it just bugs when you throw stuff out of the plane to the village or a villager dies/house burns ect i tested it and i dont think i will be having fun bombing villages with errors showing up and covering my view leading to my death :sad.gif:

I Started getting the error after i threw out compasses from my plane since i use tomanyitems and got 64 instead of 1 and threw 63 and started getting spammed of errors that made me crash in a tree and go to the village where everyone lives but wives and no trading stuff.
Crashed again when flying toward a new village i think it only happens when i fly toward it directly damn it i wanted this mod :sad.gif:

I'm not demanding he fix it immediately. I understand all of your points and I agree, I'm just saying that in the future, a new method will have to be used for optimal results. Also, you mentioned every few days? So far he's released at least one update per day, lol. Which I personally enjoy, since it shows constant dedication and a desire to make it better.
It would be cool if villagers could upgrade their houses at night. Or even if they only did house upgrades at night, and worked only on civic structures or leveling terrain during the day.
When they build fountains, the water flows sometimes push them away from the spot they want to build on. They should place water last.
I thought I had a bugged village, with one of the women standing in the middle of a field for several days in a row and no tavern getting built, but I gave her a gentle reassuring smack and she seemed to reset. If you change it so villagers go hostile on damage from the player, could you make another way to reset them? Maybe by right clicking on them while holding a certain type of object...

Ok, sorry to misjudge you. I thought you were the inpatient type but i was wrong. Anyway I understand what you mean and just secretly, I am looking forward to some kind of economy with this mod, it shows A LOT of promise.
i just started playing minecraft about 2 weeks ago and i really like the game, i download many mods for it and this is one of my favorite mods.
For this mod it would be really cool to add children for the families and have them grow and expand the village bigger. The kids can grow up to be random (farmer, lumberjack, ect). it would also be cool if you add miners, blacksmiths (makes tools, smelts things) and have shops that sells more things like fruit and tools.
So it would be awesome if you consider adding these :biggrin.gif:
oh and i want to help design the buildings. How can i help? I don't want to get paid or anything i just want to help design buildings for the npc to build.
Idk if anyone else is bugged by this but the mod isn't in english and i would like an english version if possible if there is already one then i'm sorry i couldn't find it
Oh, and hopefully these are some constructive suggestions:
1: An ageing town. Like it advances in time, building newer more modern buildings.
2: A barracks. Warriors can train from it (Duh)
3: A mine. Open publicly for players
4: Ummm... I had way more but i forgot :sad.gif:

I went out of bounds looking for sugar cane and it seems to have messed up my village. That or it's because the village didn't spawn on flat ground.

Village names are in French, but all documentation, instructions, and otherwise are in English. If you're bothered enough by the "current task" billboard's French building names, go into the buildingplans folder and change them.
But.. I've installed everything correctly and also the modloader for beta 1.4. still can't find any village.
I've started in a world with seed 'b' as you suggested, still no village's are found.
And yet I have no other mods or texturepacks installed, and i'm not using a mac :tongue.gif:
If there is something I forgot please tell, I'm just going to search further for village's :smile.gif:

The names of villages are completely random, taken from three lists of female names, male names and family names. The names are from a website I found with names common in Normandy during the early medieval period, so a lot of them are of Viking origin.
For the villages, they have a name taken at random in an other list (of real-life villages in Normandy), and often a "qualifier" based on what surrounds them, like "la-forêt" if it's a wooden area or "le-lac" if there is a lake nearby. There are nine possible qualifiers IIRC though some are much rarer than others.
