Hey, I'm fairly new to minecraft and this mod is near and dear to my heart as another portal junkie (who really, REALLY likes to test). I bet it's been mentioned somewhere in the 600 pages I don't have time to read, but I admit that it bothers me that you seem to have overlooked the Unstationary Scaffold. It occurs to me that, compared to some of the other stuff you've already done, it shouldn't be too hard to add them. Just modify minecarts and rails until they look and function like the Unstationary Scaffolds.
I AM, however, quite happy to see that it has been updated to 1.2.5, since that was the version I first downloaded. Thank you very much for all your hard work.
That would be really complex. Plus when RP2PR5 comes out we can have huge moving walls thanks to frames.

He certainly hasn't overlooked them. Making a mod is hard work, and, even if it just looks like it would be rewriting some minecart code to you, it's never that simple for a modder. Nothing's preventing you or anyone else from making an Unstationary Scaffolding mod, though, (I gave it a shot once, and I may try again if I find the time).
Yep, Red Power will soon have frames for moving massive structures, but until then, you can still use the wiring and logic gates in Red Power along with items of this mod for a wide range of experiments, and you will be able to run the wires up and across walls and along ceilings, just like they do in Portal.
honestly dude. Use mediafire or somthing easyer to host your mods. That filecopter junk that your using is really annoying. Also since I don't have a membership to that site. I can only download the mod at 50kbs.... Your mod is 15mb. Thats 3 mins of my time that you took.
Just please make it easier for us to get your mod. Also the download button on that filecopter is hidden intentionally in a bunch of ads. Which makes it even harder to download your mod.

Reading is good. You should read sometime- instead of just jumping to download the mod.
Tried what everyone else has said about the render thing, still got this error:

Do you think that it would be possible to add an option in the config file that would allow the Gun Pedestal to release a redstone charge one the gun has been removed? In the first game, the chamber's doors open once the gun is acquired, so it would be helpful in maps.

I have thought of it... but the quote below works as well.
I seem to be having a problem with this mod, I have installed ModLoader and Forge (and obviously this mod) on a clean Minecraft.jar, and I only receive this error.

Looks to me like the Forge has a required render class that's been corrupted somehow

Portal In Minecraft!
Lasers do go up and down..? just not at an angle because my maths is that bad. I'll give it another go at that
Update to the latest mod version.
3 mins of your time vs the months of time i spent on this mod. Great comparison. *applaud*

That said, the portal gun pedestal cannot be placed on the checkpoint blocks as of the last release.
Noted. Thanks.
DId you install forge into the jar correctly?
I might have been a tad stupid when testing it- I'll give it another go another time.
Couldn't figure out a way to redirect the laser up or down when holding the block with the Portal Gun.
Looks to me like the Forge has a required render class that's been corrupted somehow
How is it not working in the first place?
