I personally dont understand why people are talking about modding for 1.7 this early.
Anyway, FINALLY. one of my favorite mods from way back when, and now it's back.
Gotta see how this interacts with my modlist though. Mostly Doggy talents.

Because 1.7 is out now and so people start asking anyway :/
Also, this doesn't seem to play nice with forge even though it is pretty minor edits to a few animal classes, so back up first everyone!
EDIT: I've learned that my mod is a "core mod" and there is a way to make those work in Forge. Until I figure out how to make a Forge compliant core mod you can add the flag -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true to the JVM Settings in your profile manager. This will force Minecraft to open even though Forge detects changes in the Minecraft jar.
Got it working as a Forge coremod (thanks to culegooner's thread!) and updated the links in the OP.
Had it running alongside the GLSL Shaders mod and it worked great.
I'd still recommend testing it on a copy first for compatibility with other animal mods. I don't have to change the entity classes anymore though, so it should have far fewer conflicts with behavioral mods.
I really think this mod is adorable. You should maybe make like a potion to keep them babies FOREVER! Also add ocelot, cat, creeper, zombie and HORSE babies.
I miss Squichickens but thats fine, thanks for updating it!
Haha, I was thinking about them the other day. I might make a separate mod for them ... will be a bit of work though as things have changed a lot since Minecraft released 2 years ago.
One question, this is so cute! but will you make future models like zombie, skelly, magma, slime? That would be aewsome! Oh! Will you also make it so we can combine the drops like the squicken and make more mobs? Please let the people be lucky!!

I'm not going to make any other new mobs, Squickens are from the old mod, that's the only reason I revived them.
I appear to be having a texture allignment issue with the baby animals when used alongside BACR.
Quote from OP of Model swapper thread »
"Mods that change the original animals will likely have issues with Model Swapper. "
Quote from OP of BACR thread »
"BACR is incompatible with only mods that it is intrinsically incompatible with: these mods include, but are not limited to, mods that change the rendering or models of any of the creatures in the game that BACR also changes. When an issue with one of these mods occurs, set all features of the creature in question to 0 and that should do the trick."
Try the fix suggested by BACR? I don't use that mod - I'm guessing setting the animals to 0 will turn off their better animations, though. You'll probably have to uninstall model swapper. This is one of those irreconcilable incompatibilities, sorry.

holy mother of science....
Unfortunately, I was pretty busy for awhile and skipped versions 1.5.1 - 1.6.2.
Extintion doesn't have to be forever.
I don't update this version anymore, the reason I started making model swapper instead is because the vanilla babies do almost everything my mod did.
I don't have updates for 1.5.1-1.6.2, sorry, I was pretty busy with work.

Glad you like it

hope you like it :-)
Hahaha, I do get a kick out of seeing how other people use my mod
