That's what I stumbled upon being the easiest way to do it, but once mcp updates I'm going to try to get it to work without the MCPatcher files in the com folder and maybe make it a ModLoader mod too (with your permission of course).
Are you planning to have the optifine compatible non-minecraft patcher version finished now that optifine is out? I've had trouble getting minecraft patcher to work but would like to wait to have both optifine and dynamic lights before updating to 1.1.
EDIT: Oh nevermind. I have seen your post above^ Thank you.
It's disturbing how many people would rather fuzz with manually inserting class files over using a one click tool.
I would love to use the patcher, but until I figure out why it isn't working on my computer I guess I'm fine sticking to the extra 4 to 5 minutes of manually inserting the class files.
You are just extracting the modified files from a patched jar, right?
Normal darkness:
Your light: Notice the dark corners are unaffected
Now unless this was your intent, then your mod is running perfectly :smile.gif:
I could probably change that if i really really wanted to, however its currently not on my todo list.
It's very easy to change that. Get a tutorial on how to make a mod, And then go into the src folder and Change the block ID.
Use MCPatcher if you don't have it.
What? I just tried the latest version, there is no change whatsoever.
Then I go manually instalation (with unnoficial).
If I put Optifine AFTER Modloader+DynamicLights, there are no lights.
If I put Optifine BEFORE Modloader+DynamicLights, there are lights, but the water is invisible from above.
Are u using 1.1 or 1.0.0?
As for the non-MCPatcher Version I will fix that very soon. I didn't realize people are still using 1.0.0 so I didn't bother to fix it before.
EDIT: Oh nevermind. I have seen your post above^ Thank you.
It's amazing to me too.
