Can you make it so this board you cannot create new topics? And you require a mod to move the topic from mapping and modding to this section? The threads which go into the wrong section are getting annoying.. just a suggestion anyways.

Maybe in the future, when we have more moderators, but for now it's just me, and it would take much more time than it is worth.
Just report the topics and don't post on them.
The "All mods in one thread" make is difficult to find specific mods. Not to mention it creates a good mess when people ask for support. (And I don't speak about monkeys unable to read or to use archiver.)
bump + id like to see some format to add if a mod has SMP support: [version] name (SMP) something. its been frustrating hunting through threads, but thankfully some have it in the title.

^And if the mods requires/is compatible with ModLoader. That would be convenient.
Agreed. How about a few more standard mod topic title tags? We already have [MOB]. Here are a few suggestions:
[*:1krkkd30][MOB] - Mod adds new creatures (already standard).
[*:1krkkd30][RCP] - Mod adds new block/item recipes.
[*:1krkkd30][GEN] - Mod changes world generator.
[*:1krkkd30][SSP] - Mod works in single-player.
[*:1krkkd30][SMP] - Mod works in multi-player.
[*:1krkkd30][ML] - Mod requires Mod Loader.
[*:1krkkd30][TFC] - Mod supports TFC Mod Manager.
[MOB] - Mod adds new creatures (already standard).
[*:klq4y7di][RCP] - Mod adds new block/item recipes.

Can msmit71 please add a list of commonly used tags to the original topic? It would be an extremely handy reference for those of us new to the acronyms.
Why not a thread of 1.4 mods, 1.3 mods 1.4_01 Mods? Because finding the mods i want will take me more than 50 minutes :ohmy.gif:
I agree completely with this user. But instead of a thread, why not a section of each version in the Modding section? One could be 1.5, 1.4/1.4_01, 1.3/1.3_01, and "Older versions".
Oh, and hello Minecraft forums! I'm new here! :smile.gif:

Thread would be better, section would take much space. Welcome to the forums, and a tip for your whole life: Always Google the name of thing you will post/request/mod name before asking for/posting!
For the love of all things good, PLEASE let us know SMP... I see a crap ton of mods and almost NONE of them are SMP. Some of us are social creatures! *huggaBOOM!*
I'd just like to point out that there is not a single mod from 1.3 that is compatible with 1.3_01, because the obfuscation changed.
