I just wanna say the new adds are awesome, you should do more items only found in JurassiCraft that could be very useful (even if I don't have any idea right but if I have one I'll say it), like maybe plants or something. You should add more dinos like spinosaurus, allosaurus, stegosaurus, plesiosaurus, big crocodiles and realy small dinosaurs(size of a chicken). I think pterodactyl should be able to fly as well. It would be nice to have a dino who can climb on trees like a microraptor (they could be the really small dinosaurs too).
Last thing, is the mod playable on single player?
Keep working hard on that mod, it's gonna be amazing(it is already).

Download on the first page. No modloader, you need a fresh jar.... for now(: The next release should be modloader compatible.

After you get the new skins and all nice, the next Dinosaur should be Stegosaurus, then Spinosaurus (after Triceratops of course) because they seem to be in style at the moments.

just played it for the 1st time and iv got to say i absolutly love it
spears are awsome
dinos are awsome
however i have 1 suggestion for improovment
currently when you attack a dino such as a trex with the bow it wont notice you until you get into its aggro range
this makes the game actualy incredibly easy as the rexes are very big and easy to hit from a distance meaning you can just mow them down with no difficulty
if you could find some way that once attacked the dinos know where you are i think it would make the mod more challenging

Here's an idea. If you ever do implement the swamp biome, you should make spiders spawn there, either regular or bigger than regular Minecraft spiders. Just a thought.

It isn't a texture pack, it's a whole mod, with some custom textured blocks. Well, actually I'm not sure if they're making new blocks or just retexturing, but it isn't just a texture pack.
Actually, I don't think they've implemented any new textures yet, but instead they've thrown the idea around a bit.

Texture pack: nothing really new, just all the regular items/blocks/mobs look different
Mod: adds new stuff to the game, like this one: a whole new realm of play which, once they're done, will come to a total of three places to play in: Jurassic, overworld, and Nether. They're adding new mobs, and possibly new blocks (the grass in the Jurassic might be a retexturing of regular grass, can't really tell). Thus, new content makes Jurassicraft a mod, and not a texture pack.
And they might make a type of bed in the Jurassic, but that would be kind of stupid to be honest, since the Jurassic is meant to be dangerous and stuff and a bed would just feel out of place.

that happens with every mod, every major update. theyve gotta release a 1.3 update for it to work.
