How about we just don't have the game crashing bugs instead. Which this last update pretty much seemed to do unless people installed it with Modloader5 instead of 4. Other than that, I can't recall anybody reporting crashes unless it was from conflicting with another mod, or because they installed the mod incorrectly.
There was the hatchet issue with no durability loss, and something with thrown daggers multiplying on death, but none of that stuff ever crashed the game.
Oh, one thing I noticed. When starting up my file it always fires a torch arrow as soon as I load. Factors include:
I only have torch arrows on me
I usually 'quit to title' with a bow in hand
Just thought I should mention ^^

-Yes he's 100% vanilla minecraft (without the cherry) legit
-No I do not plan on setting him on fire
Ah yes, the first mod I wanted.
I installed this mod just today, the newest version (the link with the "DOWNLOAD AND PLAY" in large letters if it's not the newest version) and I got playing. Of course you warned of bugs so I figured I would get the typical black screen, or maybe a world loading crash. But that wasn't the case this time.
My first few minutes of playing the game with the mod I went to a tree, and punched it for wood. When I punched a wood block I got nothing. I kept doing this until I realized it was the mod I installed, which was this one. But I can get wood blocks with a hatchet and an axe. (Speaking of which this might've been an install mistake but when I installed this mod the axe in my inventory editor was removed, because it was replaced with a hatchet.)
But besides that, diamonds to you!
If you debug it, I'll get rid of the TNT. Better debug fast, the creeper's coming!
Looks like your current primary download is not the stable release.
Current primary download: V0.4.02 B1.3_01 r3
Listed in unstable downloads: V0.4.02 B1.3_01 (STABLE)
Shouldn't the stable link replace the primary one?
Will have to set some time to update my themes using the V0.4.03 R2.
It's in the unstable section because while it should be fairly bug free, many of the latest item additions are not functioning the way they will when finalized. Shields still need some heavy polishing, and colored blocks are going to be revamped entirely.
If I am reading this correctly, the newest unstable version only works with modloader v5? I'm a bit worried to try it out.
When I have time tomorrow, I'll make some backups and test it.
V0.4.02 r3 vs V0.4.02 (STABLE) there is only .57KB difference.
Not referring to the v0.4.03 with the new stuff. (That looks crazy btw...)
Yeah, that was a minor patch dealy. This latest update is close to double the size of the previous release. MASSIVE. Anyway, I'm afraid other updates will need to wait until the morning. Any of the long time supporters do me a favor and let any of the newbs know that the unstable release know that the hatchets and axes being needed to mine logs is a feature, not a bug, and to read carefully if they want to know how to get rid of it. I'll be getting an official FAQ put in tomorrow.
Installed and tried. Very challenging i punched some logs got nothing then i went and got saplings very fun and awesome mod 1 bug has been found haven't tested grill though. The bug i found in one of my testing mod saves there was a giant world hole. I'm afraid to test my other saves yet i don't wanna risk world holes.

Are you sure that's not an issue from using Modloader 5 instead of Modloader 4? The modloader page specifically says that Modloader 5 isn't compatible with maps from Modloader 4.

EDIT: Nevermind, I only had to re-install mod loader
This is an excellent mod, but I'm having a tiny piece of trouble. I see that I was forewarned of this trouble, I'm using Modloader 5 rather than 4, and I believe I'm experiencing a bug. The 2x2 crafting seems to work fine, but when I try to make an actual axe, rather than a hatchet I can't seem to do so. Anyone else having this issue? I haven't tried any other materials, just wood. So I'll report back if that works. (I'm starting fresh because I corrupted my main save and decided that rather than loading my dated backup, I'd just go with it (Besides, building my glass Atlantis was fun enough to do again... and better!))

It is important to forgive one's enemies, but not before they are hanged.
