FancyPack
CURRENT MC VERSION: 1.5_01 DOWNLOAD FANCYPACK HERE (requires ModLoader v5)
This is what you probably came here for. FancyPack is a singleplayer mod that offers dozens of new blocks and recipes for decoration and interior design. From furniture and decorations to chains and cages, all the way to roads that actually let you walk faster while traveling on them, FancyPack is designed to offer a more creative, decorative, and artistic approach to creating a home in Minecraft. Never suffer from a desolate, empty base again!
Stained Glass
CURRENT MC VERSION: 1.5_01 DOWNLOAD STAINED GLASS HERE (requires ModLoader v5)
Stained Glass is a very simple mod that allows you to craft together glass and any dye (except bonemeal) to create colored glass. It works with any texture pack.
While the glass has been specifically textured to look simple and go with a variety of texture pack styles, you can still change the appearance of colored glass by editing the included texture files.
Expanded Farming
CURRENT MC VERSION: 1.5_01 DOWNLOAD EXPANDED FARMING HERE (requires ModLoader v5)
Expanded Farming allows you to grow mushrooms, pumpkins, and flowers, turning them into renewable resources. Pumpkins grow the same way wheat does, flowers grow quickly, and mushrooms only grow in very dim darkness in caves.
Additionally, this mod allows you to find grass seeds when tilling grassy soil, in addition to the standard wheat seeds. This mod also includes a recipe for pumpkin pie.
This mod DOES NOT require FancyPack! It used to, but not anymore!
Syrup Tweaks
CURRENT MC VERSION: 1.5_01 DOWNLOAD SYRUP TWEAKS HERE (requires ModLoader v5)
Includes several gameplay tweaks/rebalances. You can use as many or as few as you like. You do not have to use them all together. *NATURAL DYED SHEEP gives a rare chance for sheep to not only be their normal colors, but also magenta, cyan, blue, green, purple, etc. White, brown, black, gray, and light gray sheep still appear as normal. Pink sheep are a bit more common as well. *FIXED MINING will allow diamond picks to harvest obsidian and redstone much faster. Obsidian will not become any weaker or less resistant. It is simply quicker to mine when using diamond tools. *FASTER WOOL CUTTING lets you destroy wool faster with an axe. *CANOPY ITEMS comes in two versions. Both versions will have leaves occasionally drop placeable leaf blocks when destroyed as well as the normal saplings. One version will ALSO have leaf blocks occasionally drop apples when destroyed. *REASSEMBLER introduces a convenient pack of new recipes. It allows you to craft many natural resources that are normally hard or impossible to get, like mossy cobblestone and ice blocks. Further, it will allow you to easily disassemble sandstone to sand, clay blocks to clay, snow to snowballs, etc., without having to place and break them first. *BETTER DYES allows you to craft a single dye with 1, 2, or 3 cloth at once. Craft 3 white wool with 1 dye and get 3 dyed blocks! This is meant to offset the increased return on wool you can get by dyeing and then punching sheep in the wild. Now you don't have to hunt sheep with dye in-hand to get the best returns! NOTE: You have to place the wool in separate crafting squares in the recipe! You can't just occupy a square with a stack of 3 wool and expect it to work -- the wool has to be spread out in the crafting square. Otherwise you'll only craft 1 dyed wool, as usual! *EXTRA LEATHER makes cows drop 1-4 leather instead of 0-2, to increase the usefulness of leather armor by making it easier to get. *EXTRA RAILS crafts 64 rails per recipe, instead of 16, when you use a plank instead of a stick in the middle of the recipe. This allows for larger projects without swallowing up so much iron. It also includes Booster and Detector rails now, using an extra 1 redstone dust in the blank space of the normal recipe to more than double output. *CHEAPER GOLDEN APPLES changes the golden apple recipe to use gold ingots, instead of gold blocks. *CHEAPER LIGHTSTONE allows you to make lightstone blocks with just 1 lightstone dust, instead of 9, so your return and yield are the same. *WINTER MODS gives you a number of options to choose from, including snow and ice that doesn't melt, and snow that can be harvested indirectly.

Thanks to everyone working on the Minecraft Mod Creator Pack and Risugami's ModLoader. We couldn't have done it without you!
Two new mods! Everyone knows clay is rare. And with FancyPack's new creations, clay is more valuable than ever. So what can be done about this diminishing resource?
Now you have two more options!
Clay Sieve
CURRENT MC VERSION: 1.5_01 DOWNLOAD CLAY SIEVE HERE (version 1.0, requires ModLoader v5)
The balanced and rewarding version!
Using heat, water, dirt, hoes, and patience, you can produce your own clay! Build a sieve, fill it with dirt, sift the soil through the sieve, soak, then let bake in the sun or over lava/fire, and soon you'll be farming clay like a pro! Never runs out!
OR!
Clay Deposits
CURRENT MC VERSION: 1.5_01 DOWNLOAD CLAY DEPOSITS HERE (version 1.0, requires ModLoader v5)
The quick and dirty version!
Now not only can you find more clay, but caves and mines yield one more resource worth hauling to the surface! Enjoy increased diversity underground and get your clay fix by spelunking through the darkened underbelly of Minecraft's world!
I get a black screen for using the Fancy Pack mod. Is it compatible with..
Mo's Creatures
SDK Guns, Grappling Hook, etc. (Including Customized Modloader)
Audio Mod
Single Player Commands
Battle Towers
Creeper Queen
Charlotte
Optimine
Is it true that you're give the mod over to Shockah?
This is largely true: Shockah has graciously accepted the responsibility of helping with the maintenance and updating of this mod, and we have also given him essentially free reign to change or add as he sees fit. However, we still hold final word on the mod, though I don't foresee any kind of conflict in which this will have to be brought up.

Unfortunately I don't have a complete list of every mod out there and whether it is or is not compatible with FancyPack. But I have heard that SDK's mods will cause problems.
In any case of mod conflict, the problem is almost sure to be a block ID or item ID overlap. If you can find out what IDs the other mod uses, you can compare them to the IDs that FancyPack uses (which you can view in the fancypack_core.properties file, found in the same directory as your minecraft.exe).
If there's an overlap, change the overlapping blockID in the fancypack_core.properties file to an ID that is not yet occupied and it should work.
You will need to change block ids before it is compatible with SDK's mods. Look for the thread with the list of block ids, then go to the fancy pack properties files and change accordingly.
Just a simple request for this mod: Can you make torches placeable on tables? I wanted to have a 3x3 dining table with a candle (from the Painterly Pack) in the middle.

Sure thing. However it would also mean letting torches become placeable on any other non-solid block. Torches Unleashed did this, I think, but it hasn't been updated in a while, so here's my quick fix: Torches Anywhere.
Note that bone lanterns and paper lanterns are specifically designed to be placeable anywhere already, so they can be put on top of tables already.

Are the changes from 3.0 to 3.1 a fix for the iron/gold furniture? Also, do the Farming and Tweaks require the Fancypack core files?
Yes, gold and iron furniture displays properly now.
Farming and Tweaks do not require FancyPack. They work fine on their own now!

Thanks for the reply, I'll check on it right now.
I checked the fancypack_core file. Does it really contain these?
[items]
That's all I've got in mine.
Try using just FancyPack by itself so it can generate the full list. Then compare with the mods you're using and change as necessary.
Or for short, just use the default contents here:
Every time I load a save with the chairs etc in it, the blocks were they are are black and unlit.
Any thoughts to the causes off this? ( I know the solution, but I have hundreds of houses where these are the only blocks dark enough to spawn in a 18 chunk square.

Thanks! I'll try the paper lanterns and bone lanterns. If they don't look good with cake beside them, I'll just use Torches Anywhere.
Changed both to 124 and 125 and it worked fine now. :biggrin.gif:
EDIT : May I suggest some new things to your mod, such as..
LED TV - Sometimes, Minecraft is boring without technology around. So, why not have a TV for enjoyment! XD
Radio - There are only two playable things in a jukebox, how about a radio? A radio can switch stations by right clicking it. Now, we have new playable songs! (I wish that we can put up our own songs in it :biggrin.gif:)
Flower Base - Yes, I know there's already a pot for the plants, but I think flowers will look better in a flower base :biggrin.gif:
Bathroom stuff - If there's survival, there's also hygiene. How about some toilets, or mirrors, or a bath tub that will give you an enhanced part of a house, the bathroom? XD
Yes, gold and iron furniture displays properly now.
Were there missing only the textures? Did it worked with texture pack having the upper and lower textures?
The textures were missing, but more importantly, because those spaces no longer had textures, modloader considered them "free" and loaded in external textures to fill them. That's why they looked like other blocks, instead of just looking like blank spaces (or like they should have, if your texture pack still had block sides/bottoms on it).
