Ha ha ha. Nice mod. Perhaps you could have it read the text from a property file, using a BufferedReader or a Scanner? That way it could be customizable. Its not that hard. I actually had mine do that. :smile.gif: I just think that you should get the credit, as I read your original post before changing it.
It's quite easy to get a class editor and change it to whatever you want, I would suggest people try it out. It's also a good way to familiarise yourself with a bit of Java.
And what would be a good class editor?

Updated the mod, thanks for the advice! Now you can edit what the screen says with a text file.
uhmm, where do we find the txt file.. or make one???
It auto-generates after you die once with the mod installed.
I have to ask: exactly WHERE does it generate? I can't seem to find it after dying, closing game, and looking.
It generates at the default minecraft location.
If you use Windows the path is: (C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\).
You can also find the default minecraft folder at the launcher, by clicking 'Options'.

Ah, thanks. I was looking in the wrong folder; it popped up in a folder from which my game launches. Danke! :3
This is a awesome mod but I have one question! When i try and find the txt file to edit what it says on the "Game Over" screen, and before you say anything i'v tried dying and all that jazz! I'm on a Mac and thats probably the reason why it wont auto-generate! Maybe I could just create the txt file or you could send it to me so I can put it in the right place? I don't know if this is a Mac only bug and if any other mac users have this issue but maybe you could look into fixing it?
,FillNill
I don't have any idea what's happening, are you looking for it at the default minecraft folder?
It wont auto generate the txt file (to edit txt on "Game Over" screen) for me! I'v died so many times and still no txt file! I'v looked in every file and folder and in the .minecraft folder, I can't find it? I think it's not auto generating the text file because i'm on a mac! Maybe i can just make one and put it there, whats in it?
Sorry for my mistake, it generates at the same folder from where you run the Minecraft.jar. I thought it was at the .minecraft folder because my Minecraft.exe is there and for me it's there. Look at the folder where you put your launcher.

Nice mod - that's always annoyed me about the game over screen. One thing, though: the download link for Heal On Easy says Dowload, not Download. :smile.gif:

It's quite a big word, I don't know how I missed that typo. Fixed.

It doesn't require any other mod. Just drag the class file into your minecraft.jar.

The file needs 2 lines or else it will reset the text to the default, if you want one of the lines to be blank, put a space there.
