I use your score mod and found its fun to use. I do however have a suggestion that would make it even more fun [at least for me ].
I'd love to see an option put in that allows us to take a penalty when we die rather than having the score reset to zero. Now I'm thinking something like a subtraction of 500 points would be fair. Of course if the score was below 500 on death then the respawn should start at a minus figure. EG: die with 400 score and respawn with -100 score. Just a thought.
BTW, I was saddened to see you appear to have abandoned the slime chestplate. I never got to try it out but thought it was a wonderful innovation.
the floating ruins is a great mod! but could you make it so the treasure isn't under the spawner. i want to make a mob trap with the spawner but i had to break it for treasure :sad.gif: . so can you change it?
oops well then i should of thought about that... i feel dumb and ignore this now.

Now I'm not one to complain but, you need to do something about the score resetting to 0 when I die. I'm playing a world and my score is up over 25,000 and I'm still using leather armour.
I've taken to going everywhere with half my inventory filled with cooked pork, a bow with many arrows and a spare iron sword. Its scary business when I'm having to deal with multiple spiders attacking while a creeper is doing its best to blow me up, and don't get me started on those deadly accurate skeletons. Life is becoming a nightmare trying to protect that score.
A 500-1000 death penalty instead, my kingdom for a 500-1000 death penalty instead.

if you were to have a penalty when you die, then there would never be a high score. I'd prefer to have a high score because then it's easier to brag about :biggrin.gif:
Is it possible to still get a 1.6.6 version of treecapitator? I love the mod, been using it with the 1.6.6 version of yogbox. But Have another setup with BTW, Industrial Craft and Betterblocks, That I can only convince to run under 1.6.6 right now, 1.7.3 craps out.

There is that, but I'd prefer to have the option to come back with a penalty. Bragging rights are overrated, especially when I could make killing a pig worth 10,000 points making those bragging rights seem a little futile.
Of course the high score indication could still be implemented when you die, as it does now. Re-spawning with a penalty instead of a score reset doesn't have to alter that part of the game.
Don't forget, this would be an optional option to be done optionally.
Treecapitator isn't working correctly for me... It was working just a few days ago, but I got rid of some mods recently and now it doesn't work properly. I only got rid of mods that I didn't want, I didn't add any.
I must say, I play my minecraft with all of your mods, and I have my starting inventory set to give me all the wooden tools when I first start. C: I have it so you get 1 point for killing chickens, cows, sheep, etc. And the other scores you have set for default. I don't understand why you had it set up to get -10 for killing a cow for it's leather in the first place. >.> OH and the Tree Decapitator mod is one of my most favorites. And the floating ruins are just gorgeous. :smile.gif: I've built my house ontop of one. I may post a screenshot of it for you and other people to see how amazing all of your mods truly are. C: I wish they were all in the vanilla version of minecraft.
But I want to personally thank you for improving my minecraft experience with your amazing mods.

Its interesting the way we choose to play isn't it? I too have changed the values for the score. Left the minus for the animals as I think the idea behind that is to 'reward' you for not killing animals but rather on surviving without getting leather armour or easy pork. It does however make getting feathers harder for me as I'm using the EBON mod and the zombie doesn't drop feathers anymore. I've been thinking of making a crafting recipe by combining wool and string to make my feathers instead.
I have changed the creeper points from 200 to 100 as they are pretty easy to kill, while the skeleton is a bit trickier so I've bumped it up to 200. That way I'm more inclined to go out and tackle them rather than just wait for the morning drops.
I use starting inventory too but only give myself a sharpened stick (replacement for gold sword) which only has 20 hits value and in compensation I have reduced my starting health to 12 (6 hearts). I figure if I get something, I should lose something in return. Mostly its just for those rare occasions where I get killed at night and respawn in the midst of mobs and have to fight my way out.
I was using Treecapitator but for some reason it stopped working as it should so I searched around and found Timber, which is similar but works properly on my machine. For the trade off I have reduced the life of all the axes by approx 75%, eg iron axe has gone from 256 to 60 hits. Its still way better than chopping those blocks one by one.
The only other mod I currently use of DAFT's is his slime boots mod. To date I haven't got around to making any but I'm hopeful....
There's no doubt these mods have given a new lease of life to Minecraft and I too would like to thank all the modders for the effort they have put into making this such a great game.
Cool Mods, but have to ask, does TreeCompacitor (sorry if wrote wrong) change the amount of Saplings that trees give just seems that the number has gone from 2-3 a tree to about 6-7 a tree.
