These new fiendish slimes have taken over the beaches and the nether! They are much more dangerous than the old slimes, due to their enhanced abilities and grouping powers.
Cute, but wants to eat your brains.
One thing's for sure: They like heads. In fact, brain slimes have trained hard and developed their jumping skill to an expert level just so they can reach your head from afar! If you're in sight, a brain slime will charge up its jump (with a warning noise) and leap towards you. If they get close enough to your head, they will latch right on!
Yes, that is as painful as it looks.
Brain slimes aren't all fun and games though. Once they attach to your head, all except the tiniest slimes will begin to eat away at your health. They can even stack up on top of each other and combine their strength to attack you with immense power!
OH GOD THE SKY IS GONE
There are four different sizes of brain slimes and the largest is the strongest. Each size has more HP, a stronger attack, and is harder to remove than the last. The largest does 1.5HP per hit, has 8 health, and is tough to get off. The smallest is completely harmless. Up to 10 slimes can be stacked on your head at once, and they are light enough that they won't crush you either.
Gotta love diversity.
Brain slimes spawn in both the normal world and the Nether. In the normal world, brain slimes spawn on sand or gravel, very close to sea level. Look for them on beaches. In the Nether, they can spawn basically anywhere. Watch out if you see them in water: they disguise pretty well and their jumping distance is GREATLY increased.
Do you like my hat?
Last thing to note, different sizes of brain slimes spawn on different difficulties. On peaceful mode, all you'll see are level 1 slimes, but on easy, you'll see level 1 and level 2 slimes. Play on hard to get all four of them. If you decrease the difficulty while playing, all existing harder slimes will decrease in size accordingly.

Compatibility:
Requires Risugami's ModLoader and AudioMod to use.
Should be compatible with any other mod.
Instructions are in the download zip.
THAT'S SO EPIC /capslock. Really, that is awesome. Now I can carry slimes and keep the SPA going without mods!
Uhh, there's a problem with that... you can't remove them from your head without hurting them... so if you had one on your head it would basically be there permanently if you didn't want to violate SPA's rules. Just for you, I might provide an alternate class so you can right-click to remove tiny slimes.

Oh. I didn't think of that. That would be a cool thing to include though!

Done. Here you go. You'll love this when you try it: it lets you safely remove a full stack of small slimes from your head with a right click, none of them will be damaged as long as you're on flat ground.
Amazing! I explored an island not too far from my home base, and the I hear "swoop!" "swoop!" and then "oof ugh ooh oof" before I even realized what was going on!
Also, I tried to take a little one into my house... but it suffocated because of the low roof over the door.
this mob is awsome!
but if you screw around when your fighting it your gonna die.
if more than one of the litlest ones grab you do you take damage?
no, little ones always contribute 0 damage to the total stack. And you're right. It's terribly frightening when a huge slime leaps at you from 20 feet away from in the water and lands directly on your head. I didn;t mean to program it that way, but it's a feature now... and they also can't drown (but that was intentional).
do you have them to for alpha 1.2.6 because i want them so much

Modders aren't going to make something for you just because you didn't pay. It's also too much of a hassle to make newer mods work with older versions of Minecraft.

Remember: these slimes are more powerful than the regular ones, so SPA doesn't apply except for the smallest kind.
yeah I haven't even downloaded, I'm going to do it right now, but I just had to say it.

I'd prefer that they aren't that normal, as that would cause alot of irritation.
