This will likely be the last version of SPC that I release, I no longer have the time to continue working on it.
PlayerAPI compatibility should now work, and there are a few other minor changes/bug fixes.
If there are any major issues in this version, I'll fix them and then update the above links.
EDIT: I'm still working on the automated installer, it'll be out towards the end of this week.
Confirming, player APi is not compatible with Forge+SPC 5 dev2
Make sure to install PlayerAPI on top of SPC, so Forge >> SPC >> PlayerAPI.
Exactly the way I did it. And started fresh just now too, with only BACR,ControlPack, and SPC, ran the game and everything was working, then quit and try to add Player API and got the same crash.
Make sure to install PlayerAPI on top of SPC, so Forge >> SPC >> PlayerAPI.
Then this still works if player API is a jar and is loaded by forge?
It still seems the API is loaded before SPC, guessing Divisor has to fix this on his end.
I Don't know what happened, But when I tryed to stop using the mod via MagicLauncher, It connected to all my Minecrafts, The 1.5.2 launcher, and the 1.5.2 Magic Launcher, Is this a Virus?
To get rid of it i had to delete my bin. I Like and want to use this mod, but dont want the pain of having to do this.
I think a fluke. I still have my \bin plus a versions folder with 1.6.1 and 1.6.2 versions in it. I don't see what you describe. My \bin contents MC1.4.7.jar (Risu) MC1.4.7f.jar (Forge) MC1.5.2.jar & MC1.5.2f.jar.
@ q3hardcore;
It loaded and works OK for me, but I'm probably not using API. I thought there was a problem with instantmine but realized it doesn't work with Forge. Once I re-modded my Risu.jar instantmine works, I haven't yet tried noclip but that worked with your 5.0dev.
Lou
The trick for Forge that kicked my butt was deleting the 2 files in the META-INF. Don't screw with META-INF when using Forge is deeply ingrained.
Lou
I'll update my installation instruction shortly.
q3 you not changing your installation makes my WE instruction easier however, PLEASE either you or simo have to bend on this point. There shouldn't be different instructions for Mods by different authors.
Maybe both of bend a little, put it in the versions folder. That seems to be the new \bin, and the rookies don't seem comfortable with creating a \bin
Hi guys, does anyone know how to make this work alongside the latest version of Forge? I'm completely unable to get the two to work side by side. They used to work, untill 1.6.2.
Thanks all
Ryan
I don't understand why people want to be Forge Guini Pigs!
It works on a PC, with the last recommended 789 and 804, I won't promise anything beyond that.
Please try this installation instruction. http://www.mediafire...nstallation.pdf
If you see something that needs clarification tell me.
Lou
For all people that confused about (put "worldedit.jar" into the bin folder)
just put that file into (.minecraft/versions/"1.6.2.mods") or the version u renamed to...
put it in that folder and done! its same as bin
If you wanted to hide smut from Mom could you create a folder under many layers where she'd never find it?
You do the same thing here; but it's only a few layers deep and you're not trying to hide it.
Read one of my manual installation posts, that might help.
How hard is it to make a folder?
Okay, I think I've exhausted every option on my week-long Mac install attempts. Basically I use SPC for one reason: World Edit. Can the WorldEdit.jar be loaded without SPC?
I really like this mod but I am running into a problem that I have tried to find a solution to but haven't been able to. I am using minecraft version 1.5.2. I also use the automatic installer. The problem I have is that it works for the initial time I play but if I save and exit, I have to reinstall the mod or it isn't there. I still have any item I got from using the mod but waypoints and such are gone. Thanks in advance.

Are you using Forge? I have a similar problem with Ellian's Detector when using Forge that I don't have with Risugami's ModLoader. Forge hasn't been receptive about fixing it!
You might also try MagicLauncher or SKMCLauncher. It will mean creating a \bin directory and placing your 1.5.2 version there. I have a 1.4.7 and 1.5.2 versions that I still use the old fashioned way.
Lou
I don't think you get way points with 1.5.2.

Dude!!! I found a video that works for mac!!!!!! watch this video and you'll have SPC working with world edit in no time!!!!
SPC in Vanilla, using this version (I have no idea whose version this is!) http://www.mediafire...C1.6.2_V5.0.zip [Edit: it says 5.0 here, but the version in MC says v4.9 when a world loads]
1. Installed SPC into duplicated Vanilla 1.6.2.jar (renamed "spc").
2. Created a spc only profile.
3. Launched MC successfully, loaded a world successfully, SPC says cannot find WorldEdit.jar.
4. Launching successfully created the /mods/spc Folder with several items.
5. Placed World Edit into /mods/spc.
(These are all steps in the video above this post, refer to that for specifics) This got SPC to work (without Forge) in Mac OS X.
Next, install into Forge copy:
Same installation process, except:
Vanilla: Delete META-INF completely, Forge: Delete only the 2 MOJANGC files in /versions/spc-forge folder/META-INF
When creating a profile add "-Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true" (without quotes) in "JVM arguments" should read:
Thank you, SPC works in Vanilla using that video!! I haven't gotten Forge to work yet. But hey working in vanilla is something!
The step the video poster did that I didn't was:
Load Minecraft without WorldEdit.jar, let MC create the mods/spc folder, then place WorldEdit.jar into that folder.
Also:
The version of SPC used and linked in the video says 5.0 but not "dev" or anything, so I'm not sure where that came from.
~5.0 is q3hardcore's first release, then ~5.0dev, and finally ~5.0dev2. My Forge version uses ~5.0dev2. I suspect any of them will work. With all of q3's versions you place the WE.jar in the SPC folder.
Congratulations.
Lou
I recommend you keep both versions. Different commands work depending on whether Risu's or Forge.
This command list spells out the differences. If you see something wrong or needing clarification PM me please.

You are welcome man! I had the same troubles that you had too. Except it wouldnt even open the game. This video is the most helpful!
