Ok, I have tried 6 different ways of installing it (including the installer), yet, when in-game, there is absolutely no sign that it's installed. Does ANYONE know where I can find a WORKING tutorial for, not 1.5.1, not 1.5.2, not beta 1.8.1, but 1.6?
Almost the same process as for any of the previous versions:
On .minecraft\versions, duplicate the 1.6.1 folder and rename the 2nd copy as '1.6.1SPC'.
Inside that new folder, rename both files to be 1.6.1SPC.*
Edit 1.6.1SPC.json with text editor and change:
"id": "1.6.1",
to
"id": "1.6.1SPC",
Copy worldedit.jar to .minecraft\libraries
From now, the process is the same as for 1.5.2:
Open 1.6.1SPC.jar with winrar, winzip, etc
Add all the files from the SPC zip, except for the .txt files, into 1.6.1SPC.jar
Remove the META-INF folder inside 1.6.1SPC.jar
That's all
Thanks
Only problem now is I can't edit "1.6.1SPC.jsor", any idea how to fix that?
Also, The MC launcher will not allow me to hit "play" and more, and won't launch MC.
Hello friends, I'm kinda new to minecraft but I'm a programmer. I'm trying to get this mod to work for my son but its not working out. I made sure to:
* Ensure the patch version matches my minecraft version (1.5.2)
* Deleted the Meta-INF
* Ensured no other mods are loaded, completely deleted the appdata .minecraft folder and downloaded fresh files
* Used winrar to copy the files
* Tried another time using mcpatcher (with a fresh minecraft install)
Am I missing something? Wouldn't it be easier for all mods to use an installer wizard that automatically configures your local files? It also seems quite tedious to find the actual download for these mods, sloshing though all these ad ridden sites.

I have many mods and I like to use magiclauncher to load them. It's great. Just download magiclauncher and run it, then download manual 1.5.2 SPC then add it to a mods folder on your desktop or .minecraft folder then in the launcher click setup, click add and open mods folder and select SPC zip file.
woah dude using a great mod such as SPC just for teleports it's like having a private jet and use it only to go from home to school
Anyway you can give yourself some command block and use them to tp to home
I know this makes me an evil person... but... Every time I see a post relating to "OMG UPDATE PLS"...
I want to permaban that person. Yes, you could make the argument that it constitutes disproportionate retribution... but really, wouldn't it make us all feel better? I think it would.
And... that is probably why they will never elect me as "Emperor of the Internet". Shame, really.
Also, am I crazy, or didn't simo drop out of maintaining the code? I seem to recall it being sk89q.
but is there a way to install this with the new launcher ?
im using a 1.5.1 Jar file
thank you.
The easiest solution is to use Magiclauncher... which... is... Okay, I forget how to embed hyperlinks on message boards. Use the search field at the top of the page to locate it. Take note that there is an option to select "environment", select the right one because a key thing is that the directory paths have changed with the 1.6 updates.
On that directory pathing change:
Previously, the Minecraft Jar was in the AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin subdirectory.
The new launcher looks for minecraft.jar in AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\versions
So, you can install SPC manually into your jar file, (I use 7zip simply because it is free), and then copy your SPC-enabled jar file into the "versions" folder. The new launcher should see it.
Whenever the current code guru feels like finishing the code, and uploading the result. It could be tonight, it could be 4 months from now, or it could be never.
Although, if you want the update to happen sooner, the best way is to hire a programmer to write up the code, ensure it's updated and working, and put it on the net somewhere for us all to download it.
After all, there was, like... an 11 year gap between Starcraft, and Starcraft II, right? Maybe it will take 11 years to update this mod to the current version of Minecraft.

Yes I tried to install it manually into the 1.5.1 Jar and the World Edit file in the same file where the Jar is (Its supposed to be in the bin file)
but it didnt work i might have done something wrong
I didnt try magic launcher yet but i hate that thing ><

There is now an OFFICIAL DEVELOPMENT RELEASE available.
Well, I did do an updated version, but noclip still needs a bit of work. Maybe I'll fix it in 11 years time

EDIT: You will need to place WorldEdit.jar under .minecraft/mods/spc for WorldEdit to function.
I miss XCommands...

No. Sorry.
Don't ask for updates.
